Sanjay Mishra (actor) Indian actor

Sanjay Mishra is an Indian film actor known for his works predominantly in Hindi cinema and television. An alumnus of National School of Drama, he made his acting debut in the 1995 film Oh Darling! Yeh Hai India!. Later films include Rajkumar (1996) and Satya (1998). He also appeared as Apple Singh, an "icon" used by ESPN Star Sports during the 1999 Cricket World Cup. In 2015, he received the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for his performance in Ankhon Dekhi.

History

Amma was based on a real-life story and was chosen by the State Govt. of Uttar Pradesh (INDIA) to be awarded a subsidy of Rs.10 Lacs and exemption of entertainment tax for one year. The film was recalled in the National Film Festival 2003, out of a total of 132 films submitted. This film was the debut feature film of editor Amitabh Shukla.

Amitabh Shukla is an Indian film editor, working in Bollywood, most known for his work in films like Chakh De! India, Krrish, Holiday and Chalte Chalte. He was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Editing in the year 2008 for his work in the film Chakh De! India.

Attukal Temple temple in India

The Attukal Bhagavathy Temple is a Hindu religious shrine at Attukal in Kerala, India. Goddess Bhadrakali (Kannaki), mounted over 'vethala', is the main deity in this temple. Bhadrakali, a form of Mahakali, who killed the demon king Daruka, believed to be born from the third eye of lord Shiva. 'Bhadra' means good and 'Kali' means goddess of time. So Bhadrakali is considered as the goddess of prosperity and salvation. Goddess 'Attukal devi', itself is the supreme mother 'Bhaadrkali devi', the goddess of power and courage. The film won Special Mention in the Competition section at the 2003 International Children’s Film Festival Hyderabad, and was subsequently premiered at the 37th International Film Festival of India. In 2016, the film was released as Mustafa & the Magician in Los Angeles and was submitted for consideration for the animated feature film Oscar.
