Bulería is the second studio album recorded by Spanish singer David Bisbal, following Corazón Latino (2002). It was released by Vale Music, Universal Music Spain and Universal Music Latino on February 10, 2004. It is primarily dance music, containing both slow and fast pieces. Two of the songs on the album were co-written by Bisbal. The song "Esta Ausencia" was chosen as theme song for the Mexican telenovela Piel de Otoño (2005), produced by Mapat L. de Zatarain, starring Laura Flores and René Strickler, while Sergio Goyri, Sabine Moussier and Manuel Landeta, starred as antagonists. Gerardo Munguía and María Marcela starred as stellar performances. Raquel Olmedo starred as special participation.

Otra Nota is the debut album by American singer Marc Anthony that was released on January 26, 1993, by RMM Records. Produced by Sergio George, it was the first album by Anthony to record in salsa after starting his career as a freestyle musician. Recording of the album began after Anthony asked RMM president Ralph Mercado to record Juan Gabriel's "Hasta Que Te Conocí" in salsa after hearing it on the radio during a taxi ride. It is a salsa tune, in which Rivera confesses that he is crazy in love. The song received positive from music critics, being identified by them as a standout from the album. It was nominated for the Tropical Song of the Year award at the 9th Annual Lo Nuestro Awards in 1997 and was a recipient of the ASCAP Latin Award in the tropical field in the same year. In the United States, "Loco de Amor" reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart and topped the Tropical Airplay chart, spending eight weeks at this position on the latter chart. A music video for the song was filmed in a barn.
