An ASMR Album is the debut studio album by American comedian, Brandon Wardell. The album was released on June 1, 2018.
The album was first announced on May 3, 2018, while the entire concept of the album originally was revealed to be an entire joke. Producer Ricky Reed said that he and Wardell started the process as a "dumb idea" which manifested into the album. Reed said, of the album, and its recording process that it turned "into a gonzo journey through his brain complete with a time traveling plot twist and interludes played by a tiny band that sounds like ants playing jazz on acid". [1]
In an interview with Paste , Wardell was interested in doing an autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) album, strictly because of the originality of it. Wardell said that to his knowledge, no musician or comedian has ever done an ASMR album before, so he wanted to be the first. [2] Wardell further said of making the album "it’s not a good idea, but no one’s done it before. It’s just me whispering my jokes mostly. Imagine me whispering and also I’m giving you a scalp massage while I say it." [2]

In a mixed review, Larry Fitzmaurice of Pitchfork gave the album a 5.7/10. Fitzmaurice described the album as an "uneven listen, even for the most logged-on". [3]
It's Not Funny is David Cross' 2004 stand-up comedy album, released on Sub Pop Records. The track titles, like those on his previous record Shut Up You Fucking Baby!, have no relevance to the bits Cross does on the album and are instead there to make fun of material performed by other comedians, either on the whole or targeted at specific comedians. Cross has said the album's title references children being laughed at by their friends while trying to tell them something important, only to reply, "Come on guys, it's not funny." The album was released on CD by indie-rock label Sub Pop, and on vinyl by comedy label Stand Up! Records, which issued a limited LP edition of 500 for this release, as they had for Shut Up You Fucking Baby!. Like the CD, it also contains a hidden track that plays from the label out to a locked groove. This edition is a single LP, unlike its predecessor.
Person Pitch is the third solo album by American recording artist Noah Lennox under his alias Panda Bear, released on March 20, 2007, by Paw Tracks. Departing stylistically from his prior work as both a member of Animal Collective and a solo artist, the album was recorded using the Boss SP-303 sampler, with instrumentation largely composed of manipulated samples and loops, accompanied by Lennox's layered vocals.
