The Anakkavur block is a revenue block in the Tiruvannamalai district of Tamil Nadu, India. It has a total of 55 panchayat villages.
Tiruvannamalai district is the largest of the 37 districts in the state of Tamil Nadu, in South India. It was formed in the year 1989 through the bifurcation of North Arcot into the Tiruvannamalai Sambuvarayar and Vellore Ambedkar districts. The city of Tiruvannamalai is the district headquarters.
