Anand Sen Yadav is an Indian politician from the Samajwadi Party .
Sen Yadav first won the 2002 elections from Milkipur,with the Samajwadi Party. And he won by- election in 2016 from Bikapur.
He was indicted in more than ten criminal cases including murder,assault,and extortion, [1] and fought the 2007 Uttar Pradesh state assembly elections from jail. He won and was appointed Minister of State for food processing in Mayawati's cabinet. He was in jail during the swearing-in ceremony,and a court refused him leave since he was there on "serious criminal charges".[ citation needed ] Eventually,a second ceremony was held for him. [1] On 7 November 2007,Sen Yadav resigned from his ministerial post,and Mayawati initiated a probe. [2]
In 2011,he was convicted on charges of kidnapping and murder of a female student which occurred in 2007. He was sentenced to life in prison. [3] After getting bail in 'Shashi murder case',he fought Bikapur assembly by-election and won in 2016.He fought 2019 general election from Faizabad constituency,but lost.

Its election symbol is an elephant which is the same symbol historically used by Dr. Ambedkar's Scheduled Castes Federation.
Mayawati is an Indian politician. She has served four separate terms as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. She is the national president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP),which focuses on a platform of social change for Bahujans,more commonly known as Other Backward Castes,Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as well as converted minorities from these castes. Munna Bajrangi or Prem Prakash Singh was an Indian politician,a known contract killer and a gang leader from Eastern Uttar Pradesh. In the two decades he was active,he is associated with more than 40 incidents such as murder,attempted murder,and extortion. Shri Prakash Shukla was the first person who fired an AK-47 on the soil of Uttar Pradesh. He was a notorious crook in the 1990s after this AK 47 was used by Munna Bajrangi. In 2009,he was in jailed for the murder of MLA Krishnanand Rai in 2005 and another BJP leader Ramchandra Singh. For many years,he supported the Samajwadi Party headed by Mulayam Singh Yadav,but the gang switched to Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party in the mid-2000s.
The election for the Sixteenth Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh,a multi party contest,the Samajwadi party beating most of the exit polls which were pointing the hung assembly,secured a comfortable majority of 224 in a house of 403 outperforming the ruling BSP and other national parties,the INC and the BJP. The BSP strength in the assembly was greatly reduced to 80 seats,the BJP with 47 seats followed by the Congress with 28 seats. Mayawati,the incumbent Chief Minister tendered her resignation on 6 March 2012 marking the distinction of being the first to complete full five years in office.
