Patel took oath as the 15th Chief Minister of Gujarat succeeding Narendra Modi, after the later was elected as Prime Minister of India following the victory of Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2014 Indian general election. She was the first woman Chief Minister of the state. She resigned on August 1, 2016, as she was turning 75 years old on November 21, 2016. She continued to hold the office until her successor Vijay Rupani took over on August 7, 2016. [5]

Keshubhai Patel 10th Chief Minister of Gujarat

Keshubhai Patel was an Indian politician who was the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 1995 and from 1998 to 2001. He was a six-time member of Gujarat Legislative Assembly. He was a member of RSS since 1940s, of Bharatiya Jana Sangh in 1960s, Janata Party in 1970s, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from 1980. He subsequently left the BJP in 2012 and formed the Gujarat Parivartan Party. Vijay Rupani 16th Chief Minister of Gujarat

Vijaybhai Ramniklalbhai Rupani is an Indian politician who served as the 16th Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2016 to 2021. He is a member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, representing Rajkot West. He is a member of Bharatiya Janata Party.

On 1 May 1960, the Indian State of Gujarat was created out of the 17 northern districts of former State of Bombay. These districts were later further subdivided. There are 33 administrative districts in the state. Unlike other cities, Gandhinagar has its own administrative body, 'The Capital Project division', created by the Government of Gujarat in 1965 for Balanced & Deciplinate System in Gandhinagar capital city.

Anandiben Mafatbhai Patel is an Indian politician serving as the current Governor of Uttar Pradesh. She also served as Governor of Madhya Pradesh and Governor of Chhattisgarh. She has served as the first female Chief Minister of Gujarat. She is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) since 1987. She was the Cabinet Minister for Education from 2002 to 2007.

Pema Khandu is an Indian politician and the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. He is son of former Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Dorjee Khandu. Mangubhai C. Patel 19th Governor of Madhya Pradesh

Mangubhai Chhaganbhai Patel is an Indian statesman who is the current and 19th Governor of Madhya Pradesh. He is a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party from Gujarat. He served as the officiating speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly in 2014. He has earlier served as a cabinet minister in the Government of Gujarat. Patel was elected to the assembly from Navsari constituency. He has been appointed 19th Governor of Madhya Pradesh on 6 July 2021 by the President of India.
