Anandsami is an Indian film and stage actor who has worked on Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi productions. In films, Anandsami had a career breakthrough with appearances in Lens (2016) and Odu Raja Odu (2018).
In 2001, Anandsami was a part of the Tamil remake of the Hindi television series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi . He appeared in ten episodes, and has since noted that being a part of the show prompted to become more professional with his approach to acting. After completing work on the series, Anandsami created a portfolio and attempted to become an actor in Tamil cinema.  Finding chances hard to come by, he joined the Chennai-based theatre troupe Koothu-P-Pattarai in 2002, where he performed for eight years, before moving on to work with another group, Perch.  Despite making small appearances in films and television during the 2000s, Anandsami was able to establish himself as a prominent theatre actor in the Chennai acting circuit.  
Anandsami was also a part of the trio that performs Kira Kozhambu, a play based on writer Ki Rajanarayanan's folk tales. He acted in the play with Ravindra Vijay and Kalieaswari Srinivasan in Coimbatore, and reenacted the same play with Maya S. Krishnan reprising Srinivasan's part in Chennai.      The play was based on Ki. Rajanarayanan's collection of short stories titled Nattuppura Kadhai Kalanjiyam with Anandsami reprising his role from the original play.  A critic stated that "Actors Anand Sami, Maya S. Krishnan and Ravindra Vijay were in their elements with their seamless blend of art and entertainment". 
Anandsami is also known for his solo play, Jannal and Seethaimark Seeyakkai Thool where he performs writer Sundara Ramaswamy's short shorties of the same name.   He was also part of an ensemble cast of actors that performed The Water Station,  directed by Sankar Venkateswaran of Theatre Roots and Wings at the Kyoto International Performing Arts Festival 
In film, Anandsami's most notable role was in Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan's directorial debut Lens , a thriller about web voyeurism.     He was also seen in the 2018 black comedy Odu Raja Odu .   In 2021, Anandsami was seen in Amazon Prime's The Family Man portraying a Sri Lankan Tamil rebel fighter.

Villupuram Chinnaiya Manrayar Ganesamoorthy, better known by his stage name Sivaji Ganesan, was an Indian actor and producer. He was active in Tamil cinema during the latter half of the 20th century. Sivaji Ganesan is acknowledged as one of the greatest Indian actors of all time and among the most imitated one by other actors. He was known for his versatility and the variety of roles he depicted on screen, which gave him also the Tamil nickname Nadigar Thilagam. In a career that spanned close to five decades, he had acted 288 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Sivaji Ganesan is the only Tamil actor to have played the lead role in over 250 films. He Has Won Two National Film Award, Three Tamil Nadu State Film Award, One Nandi Award and Four Filmfare Award South respectively.
Subramaniyan Karuppaiya, known by his stage name Goundamani, is an Indian actor and comedian who works in Tamil cinema. He is known for his comic duo partnership in Tamil films with fellow actor Senthil. The pair dominated the Tamil industry as comedians in the 1980s and 90s.

Jai Sampath is an Indian actor and musician working in Tamil films. The nephew of noted composer Deva & the cousin of Srikanth Deva, Jai had made his acting debut in a supporting role in Bagavathi (2002). Rayangala Shri Krishna Raja Narayana Perumal Ramanujam Naicker, shortened to Ki. Rajanarayanan and popularly known by his Tamil initials as Ki. Ra., was an Indian Tamil language folklorist and acclaimed writer from Kovilpatti, in Tamil Nadu. Some of his popular works include Gopalla Grammam, Gopallapurathu Makkal, Mayamaan, and Nattuppura Kadhai Kalanjiyam. He was a recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1991.The Times of India called him the "Guardian of Tamil oral tradition".

He is the fifth Tamil music composer to win the National Film Award for Best Music Direction. He has also won the Filmfare Awards South and he has received 4 Filmfare Awards South nominations. He has also won 1 Tamil Nadu State Film Award, 2 Vijay Awards, 1 Edison Award, 1 Ananda Vikadan Cinema Award and 1 Zee Tamil Award. D. Imman is appointed as the Ambassador for Tamil Chair in University Of Toronto, Canada (2019).
Madras Rajagopalan Radhakrishnan Ravi is an Indian actor and politician who played supporting roles throughout his career. He is the son of actor M. R. Radha and the uncle of Vasu Vikram and half-brother of Raadhika. He is a former chief member of the Tamil Nadu Film Artistes' Association. Senthil Kumar, popularly known as Mirchi Senthil is an Indian film and television actor, television presenter, radio jockey and voice actor. He began his career as a radio jockey with the radio station Radio Mirchi. He performed in the lead character Saravanan in STAR Vijay's sensational serial Saravannan Meenatchi. Senthil and his co-star Sreeja Chandran had married on 2 July 2014 in a private function in Tirupathi. The film stars Simran and Guru Somasundaram alongside Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, while Anandsami, Nassar, Charu Hassan, Power Star Srinivasan, Venkatesh Harinathan, Sona Heiden play pivotal and supportive roles in the film. The film also marks the comeback of veteran actress Simran in a cameo role and also marked the acting debut of her husband Deepak Bagga who played the antagonist role. The movie is produced and distributed by Vijay Moolan through his production company Vijay Moolan Talkies. The music is scored by debutant Tosh Nanda. The film had its theatrical release on 17 August 2018.
