Production

In October 2021, The series was announced on SonyLIV. [5] [6] The makers of the series arranged a Muhurat puja. [7] Trisha Krishnan was cast in the titular role in what also happens to be her OTT debut. [8] The principal photography of the series started in mid-October 2021. [9] In April 2022, Indrajith Sukumaran was confirmed to be a part of the cast, in a pivotal role. [10] The filming of the series concluded in November 2022. [11] The teaser was released on 8 July 2024, [12] followed by the trailer of the series. [13]

Reception

Avinash Ramachandran of The Indian Express gave the series 3/5 stars. [14] Divya Raje Bhonsale of Mathrubhumi rated the series 3/5 stars. [15]

The series was reviewed by Neeshita Nyayapati for Hindustan Times [16] and Sangeetha Devi Dundoo for The Hindu . [17]

The series' basic plot line was adapted from the famous Telugu crime novel "Thommidi Ghantalu," authored by Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy. 9 Hours premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on 2 June 2022.

Meet Cute is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language anthology drama streaming television series written and directed by debutant Deepthi Ganta for SonyLIV. The series stars Sathyaraj, Aakanksha Singh, Adah Sharma, Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan, Ruhani Sharma, Shiva Kandukuri and Sanchitha Poonacha in the lead roles. Vijay Bulganin has composed the music and is produced by Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni under 'Wall Poster Cinema' banner. The trailer for the series was released on 18 November and series premiered on 25 November 2022 and was very well received by critics and appreciated by audience.

Aarambham is an adaptation of the Kannada novel Neenu Ninnolage Khaidi, and was released on 10 May 2024.
