Andika Hazrumy (born 16 December 1985) is the formerly Vice Governor of Banten since 2017 to 2022. He is the son of former Governor of Banten Ratu Atut Chosiyah.
Hazrumy started his political career when he was elected as the member of the Regional Representative Council in 2009. [1]
At the 2014 legislative election, Hazrumy was elected as the member of the People's Representative Council. In 2019, he ran as the running mate of Wahidin Halim in the 2017 Banten gubernatorial election. The pair defeated incumbent Rano Karno and Hazrumy was elected as the deputy governor for the term 2017–2022. [2]
The Regional Representative Council, is one of two parliamentary chambers in Indonesia. Together with the House of Representatives (DPR), it makes up the Indonesian national legislative body, the Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat (MPR). Under Indonesia's constitution, the authority of the DPD is limited to areas related to regional governments and can only propose and give advice on bills to the DPR. Unlike the DPR, the DPD has no direct law-making power. Its members are usually called senators instead of DPD members.
The People's Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia, is one of two elected chambers of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), the national legislature of Indonesia. It is considered the lower house, while the Regional Representative Council (DPD) serve as the upper house; while the Indonesian constitution does not explicitly mention the divide, the DPR enjoys more power, privilege, and prestige compared to the DPD.

The party was established by former members of the Golkar Party who were dissatisfied with Golkar's abandonment of former president Suharto including former minister Hartono and Suharto's daughter Siti Hardiyanti Rukmana. Suharto himself approved the party name.
Ratu Atut Chosiyah is a former governor of the province of Banten, Indonesia. She was suspended from office in 2014 because of a corruption case. She held office for several terms. Before her election as governor in 2006, she was the deputy governor under Djoko Munandar starting from 11 January 2002. Djoko was involved in a corruption case and was suspended from office in October 2005. President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono appointed Ratu Atut as the acting governor to take over Djoko's administrative duties and she later became governor. She thus became the first female governor in Indonesia. In May 2014, she was formally charged by the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission for alleged corruption. In early September 2014, she was sentenced to a four-year term of imprisonment on the charges brought by the Commission against her. In September 2022, Ratu Atut was released on parole.
Drs. Kyai Hajji Habib Ali Alwi bin Thohir Al Husainy is an Indonesian politician, da'i, Islamic scholar and founder of the Pondok Pesantren Modern Al-Husainy, Serpong, South Tangerang, Banten. At the election of regional head and deputy regional head of Tangerang Regency in 2008, Alwi was nominated by the Democrat Party and the National Awakening Party as a candidate for vice regent along with Usamah Hisyam as a candidate for regent, but this pair was defeated by incumbent candidate Ismet Iskandar with Rano Karno as his deputy. Currently, Alwi serves as a senator representing the province of Banten in the Regional Representative Council.
Zulkieflimansyah is an Indonesian politician and academician who is the current Governor of West Nusa Tenggara, serving for the term 2018-2023. Before being elected as governor, he had been elected to the People's Representative Council thrice.
Mohamad Taufik was an Indonesian politician who was a member of the Jakarta Regional People's Representative Council from 25 August 2009 until his death in 2023.
