Lynn Davies CBE is a Welsh former track and field athlete who specialised in the long jump. He was the 1964 Olympic champion in the event. He was born in Nantymoel near Bridgend and was a member of the Cardiff Amateur Athletic Club.

John Griffith Davies was an Australian-American swimmer and United States federal judge. As a breaststroke swimmer of the 1940s and 1950s, he won a gold medal in the 200-metre breaststroke at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, set a world record in the 200 yard breaststroke and tied the world record in the 200 m breaststroke. After retiring from competition swimming, he became a lawyer in California and, after becoming a naturalized American, was appointed a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of California by President Ronald Reagan in 1986, and presided over the trial of the Los Angeles Police Department officers charged with assaulting Rodney King.
Andrew Bennie is a New Zealand horseman who won a bronze medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. Bennie, riding Grayshott, was in the New Zealand Three Day Event Team which finished third, along with Tinks Pottinger, Margaret Knighton and Mark Todd. In the individual Three Day Event at the same Olympics he finished 20th. Bennie had also competed in the individual Three Day Event at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, finishing 37th.
Robert Davies Marland is a retired rower from Canada. He competed in two consecutive Summer Olympics for his native country, starting in 1988. At his second appearance, he was a member of the team that won the gold medal in the men's Eights.
Richard Allan Davies was an American basketball player. He played for the gold medal-winning United States men's national basketball team at the 1964 Summer Olympics.
