William Mark Price is an American former basketball player and coach. He was most recently the head coach of the Charlotte 49ers. As a player, he played for 12 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), from 1986 to 1998. Spending the majority of his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers, his last three years consisted of one season each with the Washington Bullets, Golden State Warriors, and Orlando Magic.

Miller was named the NBA Rookie of the Year with the Magic in 2001 and was voted NBA Sixth Man of the Year with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2006. He won two consecutive NBA championships with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013.

After playing just five games the previous season, Zydrunas Ilgauskas would miss the entire season due to foot injuries. Under new head coach Randy Wittman, the Cavaliers played around .500 with an 11–9 start in their first 20 games, but then continued to struggle losing ten of their next eleven games. The team finished 6th in the Central Division with a 32–50 record.

This would also be the final season for All-Stars Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett.
