List of Florida Gators in the NBA

This List of Florida Gators men's basketball players in the NBA includes those former Florida Gators who have played in one or more regular season games of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The team was founded in 1915, and represents the university in intercollegiate competition. The University of Florida is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Gators have won two NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championships in 2006 and 2007. After their college careers, several former Gators have played professionally in the NBA. As of the conclusion of the 2020–21 NBA season, 33 former Florida players have played in the NBA or its predecessor American Basketball Association (ABA).

Eleven former Florida players have won the NBA Championships. Vernon Maxwell won the title twice with the Houston Rockets in 1994 and 1995. Udonis Haslem and Jason Williams were part of the Miami Heat starting lineup that won the 2006 NBA title. In 2007, Matt Bonner and James White won the NBA title with the San Antonio Spurs, although White did not play any game in the playoffs. Two-time NCAA champion Corey Brewer won the 2011 NBA title with the Dallas Mavericks. Mike Miller won titles in 2012 and 2013 with the Miami Heat alongside Haslem, and David Lee and Marreese Speights won a title in 2015 with the Golden State Warriors. Chris Chiozza won a title in 2022 with the Golden State Warriors. Al Horford won a title in 2024 with the Boston Celtics.

In the 2007 NBA draft, Al Horford, Corey Brewer, and Joakim Noah were selected with the third, seventh and ninth picks respectively. This marked the first time three players drafted in the top 10 came from the same school. [1] Two other players, Taurean Green, and Chris Richard, were selected in the second round.

Udonis Johneal Haslem is an American former professional basketball player who is currently the Vice President of Basketball Development for the Miami Heat, where he spent his entire 20-year career in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Haslem played college basketball for the Florida Gators, where he was a key member of four NCAA tournament teams. Haslem began his professional career in France with Chalon-sur-Saône and then signed with his hometown Miami Heat in 2003, becoming the longest-tenured player in franchise history. Haslem also won three NBA championships with the Heat.

Michael Lloyd Miller is an American basketball coach, former professional player who is the boys' basketball head coach at Houston High School in Germantown, Tennessee, as well as being a sports agent. He played 17 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) after being selected by the Orlando Magic in the first round of the 2000 NBA draft with the fifth overall pick. Miller was named the NBA Rookie of the Year with the Magic in 2001 and was voted NBA Sixth Man of the Year with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2006. He won two consecutive NBA championships with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013.

David Lee is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Florida Gators before he was drafted 30th overall by the New York Knicks in the 2005 NBA draft. He was a 2-time NBA All-Star and was selected to the All-NBA Third Team in 2013.

Vernon Leon Macklin is an American basketball coach and former professional basketball player. He is an assistant coach of the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis in the Korean Basketball League (KBL). Macklin played college basketball for the University of Florida before being drafted was by the Detroit Pistons in the second round of the 2011 NBA draft.

Joakim Simon Noah is a former professional basketball player. Born in New York, Noah was a member of the France national team and played college basketball for the Florida Gators, winning back-to-back NCAA championships in 2006 and 2007. The Chicago Bulls selected Noah with the ninth overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft. Noah is a two-time NBA All-Star and was named to the All-NBA First Team in 2014 when he also was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

Sidney Green is an American former professional basketball player and former coach. He played college basketball for the UNLV Runnin' Rebels and was drafted into the National Basketball Association (NBA) by the Chicago Bulls in 1983. After a ten-year career in the NBA he went into college coaching. He now works as a Chicago Bulls team ambassador.

Alfredo William "Tito" Horford is a Dominican retired professional basketball player who was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the 1988 NBA draft. Horford played three years in the National Basketball Association (NBA), two with the Bucks from 1988 to 1990, and a short stint with the Washington Bullets during the 1993–94 season. He played in Spain in 1992. He was listed on the Bucks' summer 1992 roster.

The 2006–07 Florida Gators men's basketball team represented the University of Florida in the sport of basketball during the 2006–07 college basketball season. The Gators competed in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They were led by head coach Billy Donovan, and played their home games in the O'Connell Center on the university's Gainesville, Florida campus.

The 1980–81 season was the 11th season of the Portland Trail Blazers in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Blazers won seven more games than the previous season, ending with a record of 45–37 and making the playoffs for the fifth consecutive season.

The 2007 NCAA Division I men's basketball championship game was the finals of the 2007 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament and determined the national champion for the 2006–07 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The game was played at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia between the South Regional Champion and the overall No. 1 seed Ohio State Buckeyes and the Midwest Regional Champion and defending national champion, the No. 1-seed Florida Gators. Florida won 84–75, to successfully defend their national championship, becoming the seventh school to repeat as national champions, and were the last to accomplish such a feat until Connecticut in 2024.

Christopher Xavier Chiozza is an American professional basketball player who last played for Saski Baskonia of the Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. He played college basketball for the Florida Gators. Chiozza won an NBA championship with the Warriors in 2022.

The 2022–23 Miami Heat season was the 35th season for the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). On April 7, the Heat clinched the title in the Southeast Division with a win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
