Andrew Hick (born 11 February 1971) is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played professionally in England and Australia.

Playing career

Hick played for the Engadine Dragons before making his début for the local Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks (Heritage № 262) in the NSWRL Premiership in 1991. He played in 44 matches for the Sharks over the next five years before transferring to the Western Suburbs Magpies (Heritage № 980) in 1996. In 1997 he switched to Super League, joining the new Adelaide Rams (Heritage № 8) franchise. [1]

In 1999 Hick moved to England, spending one season each with the new Gateshead Thunder club in 1999 and Hull FC (Heritage № 983) in 2000. He was one of several former Sharks players who played for the Thunder. [2] Hick retired at the end of the 2000 season. [3]

Andrew "ET" Ettingshausen is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s. He played his first grade Australian club football for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, retiring at the end of the 2000 NRL season having played 328 first grade games for the club, the NSWRL/ARL/SL/NRL record for most games at a single club. This record stood for ten years, before ultimately being broken by Darren Lockyer for the Broncos in 2010.

Danny Lee is an Australian former rugby league footballer. He played most of his football at prop and was a member of the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks NRL team from 1988 to 1998. He also played a stint later in his career at Gateshead Thunder in England.

Dean Treister is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, and 2000s. A member of the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks team, Treister played many games for the club from 1993 to 2003, including the 1997 Super League Grand Final. His position of choice was hooker. As a Cronulla Sharks local junior, Dean was part of the famous 1994 Presidents Cup winning team and played 161 first grade games between 1995 and 2003 where he scored 16 trys and played in the hooker position. He finished his career in England where he played 1 season for Hull FC Throughout his time at the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks he was a favourite amongst the fans. Treister was known for his creative ability in attack and his ability to control the game.

Richie Barnett is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. A New Zealand international representative fullback, he also captained the side during his career, during which he played for clubs in New Zealand, Australia and England. Following his playing career he became a columnist for The New Zealand Herald. In August 2021, it was announced that he would feature in the 2021 Season of Celebrity Treasure Island 2021.

Paul Newlove is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. A Great Britain and England international representative, he competed in the Super League competition, featuring as a centre. He played for St Helens during a successful eight-year period with the club. Newlove was a Great Britain international. Newlove also represented England at the 1995 Rugby League World Cup. He now works in Wakefield at Trinity Academy Cathedral.

Gateshead Thunder was a professional rugby league club founded in 1999 in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England, which competed in the 1999 Super League but then merged with Hull Sharks after only one season. To retain rugby league in Gateshead, a new Gateshead Thunder club played in Gateshead from 2001 until 2014.

Craig Wilson is an Australian former rugby league footballer. The son of Australian Kangaroos player, Graham Wilson, and brother of ex-Cronulla player Alan Wilson, he is a former member of the North Sydney Bears team. Wilson also played for South Queensland Crushers and Illawarra Steelers before playing two seasons in the English Super League.
