Andrew Wynyard (born 14 February 1973) is a New Zealand rugby league coach and former player who played professionally in England and Australia.
He played for the Bundaberg Grizzlies in the 1998 Queensland Cup. [1]
Wynyard started his professional career with the St. George Illawarra Dragons before being signed by the London Broncos midway through the 1999 season. [2] That same year, Wynyard was selected to represent New Zealand Māori against Great Britain. [3]
Between 1999 and 2000 Wynyard played 40 Super League matches for the Broncos, before returning to Australia. In 2001 Wynyard joined the Redcliffe Dolphins and went on to play 67 matches for the Dolphins in the Queensland Cup, scoring 14 tries, and being part of champion sides in 2002 and 2003. [4] Wynyard represented the Queensland Residents in 2001. [5]
Wynyard became the Dolphins Colts assistant coach in 2008 before coaching the FOGS Cup side in 2009. [6]
Andrew Wynyard is currently the Head Coach for the Brighton Roosters BRL A Grade team which competes in the CAOS BRL Premier A Grade [] competition as a direct feeder team to the Redcliffe Dolphins Host Plus Cup Statewide Side.
The Redcliffe Dolphins are a semi-professional rugby league club based in Redcliffe, Queensland, Australia. Founded in 1947, they were accepted into the Brisbane Rugby League (BRL) premiership competition in 1960, and since 1996 have played in the Queensland Cup. The Redcliffe Dolphins thrived in the BRL. However, the 1988 admission of the Brisbane Broncos team in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition caused the decline of the BRL.

Shane Tronc is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for the Brisbane Broncos and the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League, and the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in the Super League.
Adam Mogg is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s. A Queensland State of Origin representative centre, he played in the National Rugby League for Australian clubs the Canberra Raiders and Parramatta Eels, as well as in the Super League for French club the Catalans Dragons.
Petero Civoniceva, is a Fijian-Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. A Queensland State of Origin and Australian international representative prop forward, in 2009 he broke the record for most international matches for Australia of any forward in history. Civoniceva played his club football for the Brisbane Broncos, with whom he won the 1998, 2000 and 2006 NRL Premierships, as well as for the Penrith Panthers, whom he captained. Late in his career whilst playing for the Redcliffe Dolphins in the Queensland Cup, Civoniceva captained the Fiji national team in their 2013 Rugby League World Cup campaign. The Petero Civoniceva Medal is awarded to the Australian Fijian rugby league footballer of the year, while the Civoniceva Medal is awarded to the Queensland Cup player voted as the best and fairest.
Shane Perry is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s whose usual position was halfback. He played in the National Rugby League for the Western Suburbs Magpies, Canterbury-Bankstown and the Brisbane Broncos, as well as in the Super League for French club Catalans Dragons.
