Barry Berrigan (born 6 June 1975) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a hooker the 1990s and 2000s.
He played for the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League competition alongside his younger brother, Shaun Berrigan.
He was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. He is of German descent. [3]
Berrigan started his career with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in 1995 where he remained until 1999. After a few stints in the Queensland Wizard Cup with Redcliffe and Toowoomba he linked with the Brisbane Broncos in 2003. He made 20 first grade appearances for them in 2005. Berrigan was forced to retire after Round 2 in 2006 citing ongoing neck problems. At the conclusion of his career he played the 2008 season for his junior club Wests Mitchelton. This side included Paul Farrell, Clayton Sellars and Jack Muir. Barry will play alongside his brother Shaun for the Dalby Diehards in the Toowoomba Rugby league competition for 2014.
The Brisbane Broncos Rugby League Football Club Ltd., commonly referred to as the Broncos, is an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Brisbane, Queensland. Founded in April 1987, the Broncos currently compete in the National Rugby League (NRL). The club has won six premierships, including two New South Wales Rugby League premierships, a Super League premiership and three NRL premierships. The Broncos have won two World Club Challenges, and four minor premierships in multiple competitions. Prior to 2015, Brisbane had never been defeated in a grand final, and since 1991, the club has failed to qualify for the finals five times. The Western Suburbs Panthers, or the West Brisbane Panthers, or often simply referred to as Wests for short, is a semi professional rugby league club based in the western suburbs of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The club is the oldest in the QRL and despite absences from the top grade in recent years and several name changes the club continued to operate. After leaving the Queensland Cup, they participated in the Brisbane A-Grade competition from 2005 until their senior sides disbanding in 2012. In 2013, the club entered a voluntary hiatus, but was announced to be part of the revived Brisbane Rugby League.

Shane Webcke is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer, who spent his entire club career playing for the Brisbane Broncos. Webcke represented Queensland in the State of Origin 21 times and also captained the side. He made 26 test appearances for Australia. His position was prop forward and at his peak he was renowned as the best front rower in the world. Alongside Glenn Lazarus and Arthur Beetson, Webcke is considered by many to have been one of the finest post-war front-rowers to play the game.
