The Winter Paralympic Games is an international multi-sport event where athletes with physical disabilities compete in snow and ice sports. Sir Philip Lee Craven is an English sports administrator, former Paralympic wheelchair basketball player, swimmer and track and field athlete. Between 2001 and 2017 he was the second president of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
Evan George O'Hanlon, is an Australian Paralympic athlete, who competes mainly in category T38 sprint events. He has won five gold medals at two Paralympic Games – 2008 Beijing and 2012 London. He also represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics and 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, winning a silver medal and a bronze medal respectively. In winning the bronze medal in the Men's 100m T38 at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai, O'Hanlon became Australia's most successful male athlete with a disability. His bronze medal took him to 12 medals in five world championships – one more than four-time Paralympian Neil Fuller.
Russia has competed at the Paralympic Games as different teams in its history. The nation competed as part of the Soviet Union at the 1988 Summer and Winter Games, while after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, Russia competed as part of the Unified Team in 1992. The nation competed for a first time as Russia at the 1994 Winter Paralympics, and after that participated in every summer and winter edition up until the 2014 Winter Paralympics.

Gabriel Cole who has a partially formed left arm, is an Australian Paralympic athletics competitor. He competed at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and the 2012 Summer Paralympics in athletics. He represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics.
Mitchell Gourley is an Australian Paralympic alpine skier who competed for Australia in the downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom and super combined events at four Winter Paralympics - 2010 to 2022. He was Australian team co-captain with Joany Badenhorst at the 2018 Winter Paralympics. At the 2022 Winter Paralympics, he and Melissa Perrine carried the Australian flag in the opening ceremony. At the 2017 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships in Tarvisio, Italy he won the gold medal in the men's Super Combined Standing.
Brayden Duane Davidson is an Australian track and field para-athlete who competes mainly in the T36 classification events. He won a bronze medal at the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships. At the 2016 Rio Paralympics, he won the gold medal in the Men's Long Jump T36.
Ella Azura Pardy is an Australian Paralympic athlete who competes in the T38 100m, 200m and long jump. She represented Australia at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in long jump and the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships. She represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics in athletics where she won a bronze medal and the 2020 Summer Paralympics.
Timothy Hodge is an Australian Paralympic swimmer. He represented Australia at the 2016 and the 2020 Summer Paralympics, where he won two silver and one bronze medals.

Kęstutis Skučas is a Lithuanian Paralympic athlete who competes in international elite track and field competitions in wheelchair racing and occasionally discus throw and a former Paralympic swimmer. He is a European champion in the 400m and is also a European bronze medalist in the discus throw. Skučas is a double World silver medalist and Paralympic silver medalist in backstroke swimming.
Donatas Dundzys is a Lithuanian Paralympic athlete who competes in discus throw and shot put at international elite track and field competitions. He is a World bronze medalist and three-time European bronze medalist in shot put and a European silver medalist in the discus throw. He competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics where he competed in the discus throw and shot put and finished seventh and sixth place respectively.
Malda Baumgartė is a Latvian-born Lithuanian retired paralympic athlete who competed at international track and field competitions, she competed in discus throw, javelin throw, shot put and formerly pentathlon. She is a double Paralympic champion and a world champion in her disciplines. She is also a former sitting volleyball player.
Sigita Markevičienė née Kriaučiūninė is a Lithuanian Paralympic athlete who competed in middle-distance running events at international track and field competitions. She is a six-time Paralympic medalist and a former world record holder in the 1500m B1 and 5000m B1. Markevičienė lost her sight in 1986 following a car accident.
Mantas Panovas is a Lithuanian former goalball player who competed at international goalball competitions. He is a Paralympic champion, World champion and triple European champion. He was a former long jumper and sprinter before switching to goalball in 2007, he played for Lithuania's men's national goalball team from 2009 to 2020, he retired early following injury problems.
Vytautas Girnius is a retired Lithuanian Paralympic athlete who competed at international track and field competitions. He is a double Paralympic champion for the Soviet Union in 1988 Summer Paralympics, he is also a two-time Paralympic silver medalist and a World bronze medalist for Lithuania.
