The Denmark women's national handball team is the national team of Denmark. It is governed by the Danish Handball Federation (DHF).
The Norway women's national handball team represents Norway at international handball competitions, and is governed by the Norges Håndballforbund (NHF). As of 2024, Norway has been in 26 finals and is regarded as one of the finest women's national handball teams ever, with 33 medals.

Tonje Larsen is a retired Norwegian handballer who played for the Norwegian national team. She is Olympic champion, World champion and three times European champion. As a club player she is several times Norwegian champion and once Danish champion, and has won the EHF Cup, EHF Cup Winners' Cup and the EHF Champions League.
Else-Marthe Sørlie Lybekk is a retired Norwegian team handball player, world champion from 1999, gold medalist from the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, and bronze medalist from the 2000 Olympics. She is also a triple European champion with the Norwegian national team, which she previously captained prior to the reign of fellow Gjøvik handballer Gro Hammerseng. She is the only player on the Norwegian team that received all the first five gold medals that the national team won up to the 2008 Olympics. Ending her career for Nordstrand in her second spell, she has previously played for Leipzig, Nordstrand, Snertingdal and Toten.
Kari Mette Johansen is a Norwegian team handball player, a two time Olympic champion, once a world champion and four times European champion. She was voted into the All star team at the 2006 European Women's Handball Championship, where she won gold medal with the Norwegian National Team.
Ragnhild Margrethe Aamodt is a Norwegian former handball player. She retired in 2012, while playing for the Norwegian 2nd tier club Sarpsborg. Until March 2009 she also played for the Norwegian national team.
Rikke Erhardsen Skov is a former Danish team handball player and Olympic champion. She received a gold medal with the Danish national team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. A loyal player of Viborg HK, Skov joined the club yet as a teenager in 1994 and it remained her lone team till she retired in 2016 and retired from active sports when she became pregnant in February 2017.
Anette Hoffmann is a former Danish team handball player, two times Olympic champion and a World champion. She won a gold medal with the Danish national team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Four years later she won a gold medal with the Danish national team at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. With 183 matches she is the 6th most capped player on the Danish Women's National Team.
