Anette Wiig Bryn

Anette Wiig Bryn (born 30 January 1964) is a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party.

In her younger days, she was a member of the Young Conservatives.

In 2004, she became city commissioner (byråd) of business and culture in the city government of Oslo.

She served in the position of deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Oslo during the term 20052009. [1] She was elected to Oslo city council in 2007, but was exempt due to her position as commissioner.

FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2011

The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 took place from 23 February to 6 March 2011 in Oslo, Norway, at the Holmenkollen National Arena. It was the fifth time these championships had been hosted in Holmenkollen, having been done previously in 1930, the 1952 Winter Olympics, 1966, and 1982. On 25 May 2006, the 45th FIS Congress in Vilamoura, Portugal, selected the Holmenkollen area over both Val di Fiemme, Italy, and Zakopane, Poland, with a vote of 12 to 4 to 0. These games coincided with the Holmenkollen Ski Festival as they have previously in 1930, 1952, 1966, and 1982.

Sylvi Listhaug Norwegian politician

Sylvi Listhaug is a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party who served as Minister for the Elderly and Public Health of Norway under Prime Minister Erna Solberg from May to December 2019. In addition, she has also served as the Minister of Petroleum and Energy of Norway from December 2019 to January 2020. Listhaug served as Norway's first Minister of Immigration and Integration from 2015 to 2018, a specially created cabinet position during the European migrant crisis, and Minister of Agriculture and Food from 2013 to 2015. She served as Minister of Justice, Public Security and Immigration from January 2018 until her resignation in March 2018. Originally from the rural municipality of Ørskog in Sunnmøre, she began her political career in Oslo as City Commissioner of Welfare and Social Services.

Målfrid Grude Flekkøy was a Norwegian chief psychologist and civil servant. Having worked for several years in different health and educational institutions for children she was appointed as Children's Commissioner in Norway from 1981 to 1989, the first person in the world to hold such a position. She established and developed the role, and after eight years the UN Organization for Children UNICEF engaged her to assist in spreading the institution to other countries. Målfrid Grude Flekkøy travelled extensively, participated in professional organizations and wrote books and articles on children's rights.
