Herman's Hermits are an English rock group formed in 1964 in Manchester and fronted by singer Peter Noone. Known for their jaunty beat sound and Noone's tongue-in-cheek vocal style, the Hermits charted numerous transatlantic hits in the UK and in America, where they ranked as one of the most successful acts in the Beatles-led British Invasion. At the pinnacle of their popularity in 1965, the group logged twenty-four consecutive weeks in the top 10 of the US Billboard chart, and reached number one with the singles "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" and "I'm Henry VIII, I Am". Their other international hits include "I'm Into Something Good", "Can't You Hear My Heartbeat", "Silhouettes", "Wonderful World", "A Must to Avoid", "There's a Kind of Hush", "I Can Take or Leave Your Loving", "Something's Happening" and "My Sentimental Friend", all of which were produced by Mickie Most. They also appeared in four films, two of which were vehicles for the band.

It was produced by Eddie Kramer and recorded in an actual castle in the Hollywood Hills. "Cast the First Stone" and "Just A Dream" are very similar in sound to the songs on Angel and Helluva Band. In fact, "Cast The First Stone" was written during the Helluva Band sessions. The band toured non-stop and it was during this time they made their only tour of Japan. The album peaked at #76 on the US Billboard charts.

The album went to #159 on the US Pop Album Charts in 1979. Some consider it their most pop-oriented album.

The band had hoped that the album would bring them commercial success, like the album Alive! did for Kiss, but it did not, leading to Angel's break up a year later. The first CD issues cut out the audience in order to fit the entire album onto one CD. All reissues since the 2000s have been released on two discs and contain the album's full content.

We Come to Play was the first and only album released by BUX in 1976. The album was originally recorded in 1973 but Capitol decided not to release it. In 1976, however, when lead guitarist Punky Meadows and bassist Mickie Jones had success with their band Angel, Capitol tried to cash in and finally released We Come to Play. The album is an interesting affair blending hard rock and the standard boogie band approach with varied results. "White Lightning", which later became a featured cut on Angel's third album, is included here with different lyrics and is interesting for its historical value.

The Mission is the sixteenth studio album by American rock band Styx, released on June 16, 2017, through UMe. It is the band's first studio album since 2005's Big Bang Theory and their first release of original material since 2003's Cyclorama. The album reached #45 on the Billboard 200, propelled by pre-sales prior to its official release date, but fell off the chart after 2 weeks. In an era with limited album sales, total U.S. Sales were approximately 15,000 copies, a far cry from the band's triple platinum past. Yet, the album did briefly reach the Top 100 in four other countries. The concept album tells the story of a mission to the planet Mars in the year 2033. The album's story was written by Tommy Shaw and Will Evankovich. Evankovich played a significant role, serving as producer and co-writing all but one of the full length tracks.
