Ani Jane Mugrditchian (born 11 May 1953) is a Lebanese former swimmer. She competed in the women's 100 metre breaststroke at the 1972 Summer Olympics. [1] She was the first woman to represent Lebanon at the Olympics. [2]

Lebanon sent a delegation to compete at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from 12–28 February 2010. This was Lebanon's 15th appearance at a Winter Olympic Games. The Lebanese team consisted of three alpine skiers. Lebanon has never won a medal at a Winter Olympics, and their best performance in Vancouver was 37th in the women's super-G by Chirine Njeim; Ghassan Achi failed to post a result in either of his races, and Jacky Chamoun finished 54th in her only race.

Ani Moneva is a Bulgarian swimmer.Over a period of 6 years, she emerged as an outstanding backstroker, setting records for the women's 100m and 200m backstroke. After this period, she successfully switched to the butterfly stroke, achieving new senior girls records in the 100m and 200m. With it's participation in national and international competitions, Electroimpex became a strong representative of Bulgaria, with participation at the European level where the best German swimmers from the GDR also overcome.Her outstanding success continues in France, where she became first in 100m butterfly. Her contribution to the Bulgarian national team has not been overlooked, she competed in control events for the 1980 Moscow Olympics and successfully qualified, taking 8th place in the 4x100 medley relay. She competed in the women's 4 × 100 metre medley relay at the 1980 Summer Olympics.

Arda Kalpakian is a Lebanese Olympic athlete. She represented Lebanon in 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, and was eliminated after she came in last in her heat in round one.

Zeina Mina is a Lebanese Olympic athlete. She represented Lebanon at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California, and came in last in her heat in round one. She received a PhD in sport education and management in 2015, and worked in 2017 as manager of the Sports Academy in Antonine University in Lebanon. Mina is the CEO of Performance First Lebanon.

May Wafic Sardouk is a Lebanese Olympic athlete. She represented Lebanon in 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, and came in last in her heat in round one.

Virginia Bonci-Joan was a Romanian track and field athlete who specialised in the high jump. She competed in the women's high jump at the 1968 Summer Olympics. She revived gold from the Romanian Championships 5 times.

For the first time in history, a Lebanese swimming team attended the 1968 Summer Olympics held in Mexico, with one male swimmer attending the event. The first female Lebanese swimmer to attend an Olympics was Ani Jane Mugrditchian, at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich.
