Biography

Koneru produced Allari Bullodu in 2005. He also produced films like Sriramachandrulu , Ottesi Chepthunna and Radha Gopalam .

Koneru died of cancer in a Hyderabad hospital on 26 April 2019. [1] [2] [3]

Akkineni Nageswara Rao

Akkineni Nageswara Rao, widely known as ANR, was an Indian film actor and producer, known for his work predominantly in Telugu cinema. He starred in many landmark films in his seventy five-year career, becoming one of the most prominent figures in the history of Indian cinema. He is considered one of the greatest and most successful actor of Indian cinema and one of the two pillars of Telugu Cinema, along with N. T. Rama Rao. He was one of the instrumental figures in moving the Telugu cinema industry from Madras to Hyderabad in the early 1960s. <i>Missamma</i> 1955 film directed by L. V. Prasad

Missamma is a 1955 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy film directed by L. V. Prasad. Produced by B. Nagi Reddy and Aluri Chakrapani's Vijaya Vauhini Studios, its script was adapted by Chakrapani from two Bengali works: Rabindranath Maitra's play Manmoyee Girls School and Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay's novel Detective. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao, Savitri, Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Jamuna. It revolves around two unemployed people — M. T. Rao and Mary — who pose as a married couple to obtain employment in a high school founded by Gopalam, a zamindar. As Rao and Mary fall in love, Gopalam's nephew A. K. Raju learns that Mary is Gopalam's missing elder daughter Mahalakshmi; she is unaware of her true identity.

<i>Manchi Rojulu Vachchaayi</i>

Manchi Rojulu Vachchaayi is a 1972 Telugu-language drama film, produced by S. S. Balan under the Gemini Pictures banner and directed by V. Madhusudhan Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Krishnam Raju, Kanchana in the lead roles and music composed by T. Chalapathi Rao. The film was a remake of the Tamil film Savaale Samali (1971) which went on to be remade in Hindi as Charnon Ki Saugandh (1988). The film also inspired the Telugu film President Gari Pellam (1992), starring Akkineni Nagarjuna, Meena in pivotal roles.

Korlam Parvati Vara Prasada Rao, better known by his stage name Vizag Prasad, was a Telugu theatre artist actor known for his negative character artiste roles.
