Animal Friends is an upcoming American live-action/animated action comedy film directed by Peter Atencio and with a screenplay by Kevin Burrows and Matt Mider. The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, Vince Vaughn, Aubrey Plaza, Addison Rae, Dan Levy and Lil Rel Howery. The film is scheduled to be released sometime in 2025.

The project was announced in April 2023, with Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, Vince Vaughn and Aubrey Plaza announced to star, and Peter Atencio set to direct. [1] Addison Rae would join the cast the following month. [2] Dan Levy joined the cast in February 2024. [3] Lil Rel Howery and Ellie Bamber would join the cast in the following months. [4] [5]

DNEG announced the film had entered production in June 2023. [6]
