Anirudh Chaudhry is an Indian sports administrator. He was the Treasurer of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He has served as the manager of the Indian team for its tour of England in 2011. [1] Other positions he held include honorary secretary of the Haryana Cricket Association, [1] Manager of the Indian team for the ICC T20 World Cup in England in 2009 [1] and manager of the India under-19 team that took part in the ICC under-19 World Cup held in New Zealand in 2010. Controversy

Chaudhry has been the focus of several controversies. One of those revolved around spendings in maintaining his three offices, which was raised in 2014. [3] The subject of BCCI's and Chaudhry's spending was raised again in 2017. [4]

A second controversy was around the implementation of recommendation by a panel headed by Rajendra Mal Lodha, a subject which was placed before the Supreme Court of India. In July 2017 Chaudhry was accused by the Committee of Administrators (CoA) that he "lacks courage to implement Lodha reforms". [5] In September 2017 he was one of the three senior BCCI officials which were reprimanded by the Supreme Court for their "obstinate behaviour" in handling the recommendations. [6] In November 2017, allegations were raised that Chaudhry has issued death threats to BCCI CFO, Santosh Rangnekar. The allegations were denied by Chaudhry's attorney. [7] In January 2018 the other two officials has stated explicitly that Chaudhry was the "hurdle in the process of implementing the recommendations", [8] though Chaudhry claims he was singled out because he is "the only one asking questions". The 2013 Indian Premier League spot-fixing and betting case arose when the Delhi Police arrested three cricketers, Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, on the charges of alleged spot-fixing. The three represented the Rajasthan Royals in the 2013 Indian Premier League. In a separate case, Mumbai Police arrested Vindu Dara Singh, Priyank Sepany and Chennai Super Kings Team Principal Gurunath Meiyappan for alleged betting.

Gurunath Meiyappan is a member of the AVM family and is the son-in-law of industrialist, former president of the BCCI, and former chairman of the ICC, N. Srinivasan. He was the "team principal" of the IPL cricket franchise, Chennai Super Kings and was implicated in the 2013 Indian Premier League spot-fixing and betting case. An inquiry committee headed by former Chief Justice RM Lodha found both Meiyappan and Rajasthan Royals co-owner, Raj Kundra, guilty of bringing the game of cricket into disrepute and banned them for life.

Ajay Shirke is a British businessman and the chairman of Cadence Audio SA which owns the businesses of Audio Lounge Ltd and also includes British-based Spendor Audio Systems, Siltech and Crystal Cable BV from the Netherlands. As of August 2016 Ajay Shirke purchased SME Limited, a company that manufactures precision turntables and pick-up arms as well as precision engineering parts for Formula One and the aerospace industry. In April 2018, Mr Shirke finalised the acquisition of the iconic Garrard turntable brand and also Loricraft Audio who for many years were the sole authorised service department for existing Garrard turntables. A major part of the Loricraft Audio business is the manufacture of the Professional Record Cleaning (PRC) range of record cleaning machines. These acquisitions are seen by industry observers, to further his commitment to preserve and promote the heritage of traditional British Hi-Fi brands.

The Lodha Committee was appointed by the Supreme Court of India on 23 January 2015 to analyse and recommend implementable actions for improving the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), assess the quantum of punishment for Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra in the Indian Premier League (IPL) betting scandal, and analyse the role of Sundar Raman. The Lodha Committee report was submitted on 14 July 2015.

He served as the secretary of the Lodha Committee, appointed by the Supreme Court of India in 2015 to bring about reforms in cricket administration in India. He has provided assistance to the Supreme Court as an Amicus curiae in numerous cases. In April 2022, the Supreme Court appointed him as Amicus curiae to assist in the finalization of the Constitution of the All India Football Federation (AIFF).
