Anita Rizzuti (born 12 January 1971, also known as Anita Maflin) is a Norwegian snooker and pool player. She is married to professional snooker player Kurt Maflin.

Career

Rizzuti was a semi-finalist at the inaugural EBSA European Women's Championship in 1996, losing 0–5 to Karen Corr. [1] She reached the semi-finals again in 2001, losing 1–4 to Kelly Fisher [2] and was a quarter-finalist in 1999, [3] 2004 [4] and 2006. [5]

Rizzuti, Reanne Evans and Wendy Jans all took part in the 2010 World Open. Jans lost 0–3 to Alfie Burden in the first round. [6]

In the European Tour 2013/2014 – Event 4, Maflin lost 2–4 to Andreas Hartung. [7] At European Tour 2013/2014 – Event 8, she lost 0–4 to Joe Steele, [8] and at European Tour 2014/2015 – Event 1 she lost 0–4 to Anthony Jeffers. [9] At European Tour 2015/2016 – Event 1 she lost 0–4 to Simon Dent. [10]

Rizzuti and Reanne Evans lost 1–3 to Ng On-yee and So Man Yan in the final of the 2014 WLBS World Ladies Pairs Championship. [11]

She is married to professional snooker player Kurt Maflin. They represented Norway at the 2015 World Cup. [12] [13]

It was won by England's Reanne Evans, who defeated Hong Kong's Ng On-yee 6–0 in the final to win her tenth consecutive world title. The competition was sponsored by Eden Resources and had a total prize fund of £5,000.

Michelle Marinova is a Bulgarian former women's snooker player who played on the circuit from 2002 until 2008, then later competed in 2013. She reached the quarter-finals of the World Women's Snooker Championship in 2005 and the final of the 2008 World Ladies Snooker Championship plate tournament. She was the top Bulgarian women's snooker player at the time.
