Ankang University is a provincial public college in Ankang, Shaanxi, China. It was founded in 1958, but suspended from 1963 to 1978. [1]

Ankang is a name shared by a number of psychiatric hospitals or asylums in China. The term literally means "peace and health [for the mentally ill]". Many of these institutions are prison-hospitals for holding prisoners judged to be mentally ill, and operate directly under the local Public Security Bureau. As a result, "ankang" is sometimes used in the Western press to denote the system of prison-hospitals in China. However, not all ankang hospitals are prison-hospitals, and some offer conventional psychiatric and medical treatment services.

Ankang Wulipu Airport was an airport serving the city of Ankang in Shaanxi Province, China. It was located in the town of Wuli in Hanbin District, 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) from the city center. The new Ankang Fuqiang Airport replaced the Wulipu Airport when it opened on September 25, 2020.

Ankang Fuqiang Airport is an airport in Ankang, Shaanxi province, China, located 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) northwest of city center in the town of Wuli, Hanbin District. Proposed as a replacement of Ankang Wulipu Airport, the Fuqiang Airport project commenced in 2013, and its construction began in December 2015, with an estimated total investment of 2.35 billion yuan. The airport opened on September 25, 2020 for public use, as its first commercial flight China Southern Airlines CZ5269 arrived from Guangzhou.

Ankang class ambulance craft is a class of little known naval auxiliary ship currently in service with the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN). The exact type still remains unknown, because the only official Chinese governmental information released on these crafts is that they are classified as fast ambulance craft, and has received NATO reporting name Ankang class, or 安康 in Chinese, meaning Well-Being. By Chinese classification, any naval vessel with displacement above a thousand ton is classified as ship / warship, and any naval vessel with displacement less than a thousand ton is classified as a boat / craft. Ankang class is the only boat / craft in the Chinese navy that is capable of hosting a helicopter, though it only has a landing pad, but not any hangar. A total of five units of this class have been confirmed in active service as of mid-2010s.

China Railway Xi'an Group, officially abbreviated as CR Xi'an or CR-Xi'an, formerly, Xi'an Railway Administration is a subsidiaries company under the jurisdiction of the China Railway. The company was founded in 2005 as a bureau and incorporated as a company in 2017.

The Chongqing–Xi'an high speed railway is a planned railway line in China. It is 653 kilometres (406 mi) long and has a design speed of 350 kilometres per hour (220 mph). It will be part of the Baotou (Yinchuan)–Hainan corridor.

Ankang Wa Ethnic Township is an ethnic township in Lancang Lahu Autonomous County, Yunnan, China. As of the 2017 census it had a population of 12,772 and an area of 179-square-kilometre (69 sq mi).
