Anna Dadu Bansode is an Indian politician from Maharashtra. He has been a Member of Legislative Assembly of Maharashtra since 24 October 2019 from Pimpri. Previously he was elected by Pimpri in 2009. [1] [2] [3]
Sharadchandra Govindrao Pawar is an Indian politician. He has served as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for four terms and has also served in the Union Council Of Ministers as the Minister of Defence in the Cabinet of P.V. Narsimha Rao and Minister of Agriculture in the Cabinet of Manmohan Singh. He is the first and former president of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP),which he founded in 1999,after separating from the Indian National Congress. His NCP was split by his nephew,Ajit Pawar. He leads his faction of the NCP delegation in the Rajya Sabha,the upper chamber of the Indian parliament. He is the chairperson of Maha Vikas Aghadi,a regional Maharashtra-based political alliance.
The Nationalist Congress Party is one of the state parties in India. It refers to the Ajit Pawar faction after the 2023 split in the party when the Supreme Court of India granted the original party name and symbol to the Nationalist Congress Party. It was one of the major political parties in Maharashtra and was a recognised state party in Nagaland and Kerala. In July 2023,majority of the elected MLAs and MLCs of the party led by Ajit Pawar joined the National Democratic Alliance government,however,all MPs except two remained loyal to Sharad Pawar. This caused a direct split between the Ajit Pawar-led faction and the founder and president Sharad Pawar who formed the Nationalist Congress Party after EC recognised the Ajit Pawar faction as the original party.
Pimpri-Chinchwad,also known as "PCMC",is a city in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The Mula is a river in Pune,in Maharashtra state of India. It is dammed near the Western Ghats at the Mulshi Dam that forms the Mulshi Lake. Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is the civic body that governs the inner limits of Pune,India. It is in charge of the civic needs and infrastructure of the metropolis,which is spread over an area of 500 sq. km. and has 3.4 million residents. Established on 15 February 1950,the executive power of the PMC is vested in the Municipal Commissioner,an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer appointed by the Government of Maharashtra. The position is held by Dr. Rajendra Bhosale,IAS.The general body of the PMC consists of 162 directly elected councilors,popularly known as "corporators",headed by a mayor. Murlidhar Mohol (BJP) was elected as the mayor and Sunita Wadekar as the deputy mayor by the newly elected in April 2021. The land for Pune Municipal Corporation was donated by Late Hon. Shri. Bhausaheb Shirole (Patil) who was second Mayor of Pune city and later became an MLC.
Ajit Anantrao Pawar is an Indian politician who is currently serving,alongside Devendra Fadnavis,the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 2 July,2023. He served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from 2022 to 2023,and was a Member of the Parliament in the Lok Sabha in 1991,representing Baramati constituency. He has also been a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly since 1991,representing Baramati constituency.
Pune Metro is a mass rapid transit system serving the city of Pune,India. The system comprises 3 lines with a combined length of 54.14 km (33.64 mi),of which 24.12 km (14.99 mi) on two lines are operational as of August 2023. The extended metro line from Ruby Hall Clinic to Ramwadi,including the Bund Garden,Kalyani Nagar and Ramwadi metro stations,covering a distance of 6 km,was inaugrated on 6 March 2024. The 16.59 km (10.31 mi) Purple Line from PCMC Bhavan to Swargate runs on an elevated viaduct between PCMC Bhavan to Range Hills,from where it goes underground. The Aqua Line runs from Vanaz to Ramwadi covering a distance of 14.66 km (9.11 mi) on an elevated viaduct. The 23.33 km (14.50 mi) elevated Line 3 will run from the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in Hinjawadi via Balewadi to Civil Court. All three lines will align at the Civil Court interchange station.
Ashok Shankarrao Chavan is an Indian politician from Maharashtra. He is son of ex-Maharashtra Chief Minister Shankarrao Chavan. The general body of the PCMC consists of 128 directly elected councilors,popularly known as "corporators",headed by a mayor. Rahul Jadhav (BJP) was elected as the mayor and Sachin Chinchwade (BJP) as the deputy mayor in August 2018. The PCMC headquarters is situated on the Old Pune Mumbai Highway alongside the freeway in the city of Pune.
Pune Ring Road or Pune inner ring road is one of the three ring roads planned for construction in and around the city of Pune,India. Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority claimed that the road will decrease traffic congestion and provide better access to the fastest growing areas. The road will be 173 km long and will service twenty-nine villages by connecting all highways around the city. The cost is estimated at ₹104.08 billion (US$1.2 billion). The other two ring roads are MSRDC ring road and High-capacity mass transit route.

Ruturaj Dasharath Gaikwad is an Indian international cricketer who captains the Maharashtra cricket team in the T20,List A format and the current captain of Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
