Anna Botova (born March 25, 1987) is a Russian model, singer who was crowned as the 1st runner-up at Miss Globe International 2010 [1] and Miss Asia Pacific World 2011. [2]
Born in Astrakhan, Russia, Botova grew up under the tutelage of her grandmother who enrolled her in a music school. She graduated from the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia with a degree in law. [3]
Botova began a career in music in her early childhood. She became a soloist for a music group known as "Genuch DI7". [3] Botova started touring across Russia performing as a model and singer at various occasions. She obtained a modeling contract in Paris and eventually became the face of a Parisian boutique. [3] She later returned to Russia and worked for the biggest Russian modeling agency. She participated and won prizes in various beauty pageant contests held across Russia. [4]

Miss World 2013, the 63rd edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 28 September 2013 at Bali International Convention Center, South Kuta, Bali, Indonesia. It was the first time in Southeast Asia and it also was the first time in the pageant's history that the event was held in a Muslim majority country. Contestants from 127 countries and territories competed in this year's Miss World pageant, marking the biggest turnout for any beauty pageant globally as of 2024. Yu Wenxia of China crowned her successor Megan Young of the Philippines at the end of the event, marking the only time to date that the Philippines has won the Miss World title. This victory also made the Philippines the third country to win all of the Big Four international beauty pageants.
Miss International 2013, the 53rd Miss International pageant, was held on December 17, 2013 at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Alejandra Andreu, Miss International 2008, crowned Bea Santiago of the Philippines at the end of the event. This was the second consecutive year Japan hosted the pageant.

Miss International 2017, the 57th Miss International pageant, was held on November 14, 2017 at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Kylie Verzosa of the Philippines crowned her successor Kevin Lilliana of Indonesia at the end of the event. This edition also saw the crowning of the first ever moslem women to win Miss International, and was the first to win one of the four major international pageants for Indonesia.
