Freya Ann Alexandra Anderson is a British swimmer, known primarily for her achievements as a freestyle sprinter, especially as a relay swimmer for Great Britain. Anderson achieved nine relay gold medals at three editions of the European Championships, including 5 golds in a single meet at the 2020 European Championships in Budapest, as well as two bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games and a bronze at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships. In July 2021, she won gold as part of the British team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in mixed 4 × 100 metre medley relay, swimming the freestyle anchor leg in the heat.
Jillian Weir is a Canadian hammer thrower of Mohawk descent. She competed in the women's hammer throw at the 2017 World Championships in Athletics. In July 2021, Weir qualified to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She competed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, in Women's hammer throw, winning a bronze medal.

Lewis Edward Burras is a British competitive swimmer. He is the former British record holder in the long course 100-metre freestyle. He is a 2022 Commonwealth Games silver medalist in the 50-metre freestyle, 4 × 100-metre freestyle relay, and 4×100-metre mixed freestyle relay, swimming on the finals relay for both relay events. At the 2022 World Aquatics Championships, he won a bronze medal in the 4×100-metre medley relay, swimming freestyle on the prelims relay, placed seventh in the 50-metre freestyle and seventh in the 100-metre freestyle. He placed eighth in the final of the 50-metre freestyle and twelfth in the semi-finals of the 100-metre freestyle at the 2022 World Short Course Championships.

Ethan Katzberg is a Canadian hammer thrower and the reigning world champion in that event, winning gold in Budapest at the 2023 World Championships. He previously competed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, winning the silver medal.
Charlotte Payne is a British hammer thrower, who won the hammer throw events at the 2022 and 2023 British Athletics Championships, and came second in the under-23s events at the 2022 European Throwing Cup and 2023 European Athletics U23 Championships. Payne is deaf, and holds the world record for a deaf woman in the hammer throw.
The women's hammer throw at the 2023 World Athletics Championships was held at the National Athletics Centre in Budapest on 23 and 24 August 2023.
