Anna Wijk (born 20 June 1991) is a Swedish former floorball player. She was named by Innebandymagazinet as female floorball player of the year in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2019, as well as the best female player of all time. [1] [2] She was part of the Swedish national team that won gold in the Women's Floorball World Championship in 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019.

Swedish Super League is the highest league in the league system of Swedish floorball and comprises the top 14 Swedish floorball teams. The first season began in 1995–96. The season ends with a play-off and a final.

AIK Innebandy is a Swedish floorball club and a department of AIK. The men's team played in Sweden's highest division, SSL, from the year 2000, but was relegated to Herrar Allsvenskan Norra in 2018 after ending the season 2017/2018 as second last. AIK won their first championship in 2006 when they defeated Pixbo Wallenstam IBK in the SSL final. In 2009 they won their second championship, beating Warberg IC in the final. The team is back in Sweden’s highest division SSL the season 2022/2023.

Mika Kohonen is a retired Finnish floorball player and nowadays a floorball coach. He currently coaches Storvreta IBK, a club in the Swedish Super League. He has also played for Balrog IK in SSL and Happee in Salibandyliiga. He also used be a part of Finland's national floorball team for many years both as a player and assistant coach.

Peter Sjögren is a Swedish floorball player (goalkeeper) who is ranked as the best goalie in the world. Sjögren, who plays in Warbergs IC, won the Swedish Championship in 2006, 2007 and 2008. He also won the World Cup in 2006.

Fredrik Djurling, born 1981 in Järfälla is a Swedish former floorball player, having played for AIK Innebandy and the national team of Sweden until his retirement in 2011. He grew up in Järfälla, Sweden and played for Järfälla IBK until April 2007 when he signed up for the Swedish team AIK Innebandy. He won the World Cup in 2006.

The 2013 Women's World Floorball Championships was the ninth World Championships in women's floorball. The tournament took place in Ostrava and Brno in Czech Republic in December 2013. Sixteen teams participated. Sweden won the tournament defeating Finland, 5-1, in the final-game.

The 1999 Women's World Floorball Championships was the second world championship in women's floorball. The games were played in Borlänge, Sweden 9–15 May 1999. Finland won the tournament defeating Switzerland, 5-1, in the final-game and it was their first title. This also was the first time that the world championships were divided into two separate divisions, although all games were played at the same dates in Borlänge. Sweden won the bronze medals defeating Norway, 5-1, in the bronze medal game.

Lars Patrick Dousa is an American floorball player who plays as a forward. He has won two caps for the United States national floorball team. Born in the United States, he also holds a Swedish citizenship.
