Annaliisa Farrell (born 23 January 1966, in Tokanui) [1] is a New Zealand paralympic cyclist and pilot, who won a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Paralympics along with tandem partner Jayne Parsons in the Women's Time trial. [2] [3]
Karissa Whitsell is an accomplished American blind cyclist. Whitsell, with her tandem partner Katie Compton, won four medals at the 2004 ΧΙΙ Paralympic Games in Athens, Greece. They won a gold medal in the road race/time trial event, another gold in the 3 km individual pursuit, a silver in the 1 km time trial, and a bronze in the sprint.

Great Britain competed at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, People's Republic of China. Lindy Hou, is an Australian tandem cyclist and triathlete from Hong Kong. Arriving in Australia with her family in 1974, she was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa in the mid-1980s and became legally blind in 1996. She has won six medals at the 2004 and 2008 Summer Paralympics.
