Anne Elisabeth Elvebakk, married Linn (born 10 May 1966) is a former biathlete from Norway, born in Voss. She has received twelve World championship medals, among others the gold medals of the 10 km individual event in 1988, the 7.5 km sprint events in 1989 and 1990. In 1988 she won the overall Biathlon World Cup. She represented the club Voss SL. [1]
Liv Grete Skjelbreid from Hålandsdal, Fusa, near the city of Bergen in western Norway, is a former professional biathlete. On 20 March 2006, Liv Grete announced her retirement, effective at the end of the season which ended on 26 March at the Holmenkollen. She said that she was retiring because of her young daughter, Emma, her family and because she did not have the motivation to continue.

Elin Kristiansen is a former biathlete from Norway. She won two individual World Championships medals, one in 1988 when she won silver at the 10 km event and a bronze in 1990 from the sprint event. Her best Winter Olympic Games placing came in the 1994 Winter Olympics, when she finished fourth in the relay event, and her best individual placing was ninth, from the individual at the Olympic games 1992 in Albertville.

Anne Briand is a former French biathlete. She belonged to the world's best biathletes in the early 1990s. At the 1992 Olympics in Albertville, the first time this competition was introduced at the olympic level she won a gold medal with the French relay team. At the 1994 Olympics in Lillehammer, Briand won the silver medal in the 15 kilometer event.In 1995 she won the world title in the sprint event and also won the overall World Cup.

At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, Vasilyev won a gold medal with the Soviet relay team, which consisted of himself, Juri Kashkarov, Algimantas Šalna and Sergei Bulygin. He received another relay gold medal at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary.
Tarjei Bø is a Norwegian professional biathlete. Awarded Olympic gold medals, World Championship gold medals and World Cup victories from 2010 to 2022. Bø debuted in the Biathlon World Cup on 26 March 2009 in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. In the 2010 Winter Olympics, he earned his first gold medal in the 4 × 7.5 km biathlon relay. On 10 December 2010 he won the World Cup sprint race in Hochfilzen, his first world cup victory. He also won the following pursuit race and anchored the winning relay team. Bø is the older brother of biathlete Johannes Thingnes Bø.
