The Riksdag is the legislature and the supreme decision-making body of the Kingdom of Sweden. Since 1971, the Riksdag has been a unicameral legislature with 349 members, elected proportionally and serving, since 1994, fixed four-year terms. The 2022 Swedish general election is the most recent general election.
Elections in Sweden are held once every four years. At the highest level, all 349 members of Riksdag, the national parliament of Sweden, are elected in general elections. Elections to the 20 county councils and 290 municipal assemblies – all using almost the same electoral system – are held concurrently with the legislative elections on the second Sunday in September.
The Parliament of Finland is the unicameral and supreme legislature of Finland, founded on 9 May 1906. In accordance with the Constitution of Finland, sovereignty belongs to the people, and that power is vested in the Parliament. The Parliament consists of 200 members, 199 of whom are elected every four years from 13 multi-member districts electing 6 to 37 members using the proportional D'Hondt method. In addition, there is one member from Åland.

He previously served as Minister for Housing and Digital Development from 2016 to 2019 and was a member of Swedish Parliament and European Parliament 2014–2016. Between 2002 and 2011, he was spokesperson for the Green Party.

Kerstin Margareta Lundgren is a Swedish Centre Party politician. She has been a member of the Riksdag since 2002, taking up seat number 2 for Stockholm County's constituency. Since the September 24, 2018, Speaker of the Riksdag election, Lundgren was elected as third deputy speaker and serving as the current Third Deputy Speaker of the Riksdag. She is also a member of the AWEPA Governing Council.
Marietta de Pourbaix-Lundin is a Swedish politician of the Moderate Party, member of the Riksdag since 1995.

Markus Wiechel is a Swedish politician of the Sweden Democrats. He has been a Member of Parliament (MP) of Sweden following the resignation of Lars Isovaara on 29 November 2012. He's currently serving as member for the Committee on Foreign Affairs as well as Deputy for the Committee on European Union Affairs. Wiechel is currently part of three international parliamentary delegations: NATO-PA as a deputy member, the OSCE-PA and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). Wiechel is the Chairman of the Swedish PACE-delegation and holds the seat as Vice President of the Assembly.

Jörgen Tage Wilhelm Warborn is a Swedish entrepreneur and politician of the Moderate Party who has been serving as Member of the European Parliament since the 2018 elections. On 22 of October 2023, Jörgen was elected as one of the top candidates of the Moderate Party for the European elections on 9 June 2024. In parliament, he serves as coordinator and spokesperson for the European People's Party in the Committee on International Trade; Politico Europe has named him as the most free trade friendly politician in the European Parliament. In April 2024, Warborn was elected as president of SME Global, an international network for small- and medium sized business.
Blekinge County is one of the 29 multi-member constituencies of the Riksdag, the national legislature of Sweden. The constituency was established in 1970 when the Riksdag changed from a bicameral legislature to a unicameral legislature. It is conterminous with the county of Blekinge. The constituency currently elects five of the 349 members of the Riksdag using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2022 general election it had 121,789 registered electors.
Per Lodenius is a Swedish politician who was an MP for the Centre Party from 2006 to 2021. He is an educated Swedish teacher, and in the early 1990s, he was self-employed as a freelance dance educator. He was elected to the Center Party in Stockholm County constituency in the 2006 election. He was a substitute member of the education committee from 2006 to 2021 and spokesman on special education issues. From 2011 to 2021, Lodenius was an ordinary member of Parliament's Cultural Affairs Committee and the Center Party's spokesperson on cultural issues.
Patrik Mattias Jonsson is a Swedish trade unionist and politician of the Social Democratic Party who has been serving as a member of the Riksdag since 2010, representing the Gothenburg Municipality.
