Anonas station is a planned station on the Metro Manila Subway Line 9. Anonas station will be underground like the rest of the line. The station is located near Aurora Boulevard in Cubao in Quezon City, Philippines. It is named after its namesake Line 2 station, located a few meters away near Anonas Street. The station is slated to open in 2025, when the line commences full operations. [1]

Metro Manila Subway Line 9, formerly known as the Mega Manila Subway, is an underground rapid transit line currently under construction in Metro Manila, Philippines. The 36-kilometer (22 mi) line, which will run north–south between the cities of Quezon City, Pasig, Makati, Taguig and Pasay, will serve fifteen stations between the Quirino Highway and FTI stations. It will also serve as the country's second direct airport rail link, with a branch line to Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The line is designed to connect with the other urban rail transit services in the region, including Line 1, Line 3, and Line 7 at the North Avenue Common station, which is also currently under construction; the existing Line 2 and Metro Commuter Line; and the planned Line 5 and Line 8.

Aurora Boulevard is a four-to-ten lane major thoroughfare in Quezon City and San Juan in Metro Manila, Philippines. It was named after Doña Aurora Quezon, the consort of Commonwealth President Manuel Luis Quezon. It is one of the major roads in the commercial district of Araneta Center in Cubao. Line 2 runs over the road.

Quezon City is the most populous and a highly urbanized city in the Philippines. It was founded by and named after Manuel L. Quezon, the 2nd President of the Philippines, to eventually replace Manila as the national capital. The city was proclaimed as such in 1948. However, since practically all government buildings are still in Manila, many functions of national government remained there. Quezon City held the status as the official capital until 1976 when a presidential decree was issued to reinstate and designate Manila as the capital and Metro Manila as the seat of government.

FTI railway station

FTI station is a station of the South Main Line ("Southrail") of the Philippine National Railways. Like all PNR stations, this station is at grade. It is located on the East Service Road of the South Luzon Expressway in Taguig, on the foot of the Metro Manila Skyway. It is named after its major landmark, the grounds of the formerly state-owned Food Terminal, Inc. which is now renamed as Arca South.

Manila Metro Rail Transit System

The Manila Metro Rail Transit System (MRT) is one of the two rapid transit systems serving Metro Manila in the Philippines along with the Manila Light Rail Transit System (LRTA). It originally began as a single line that was first opened in 1999 and became fully operational by the year 2000. Since then, most of the newly proposed rapid rail lines within Metro Manila that are not under the jurisdiction of the Light Rail Transit Authority is associated with the "MRT" brand. This includes the Line 9 and the elevated Line 7 which are being built as of March 2019.

Anonas Street is a street located in Quezon City, Philippines. It is a notable road in a generally north-south orientation between the intersection with Madasalin Street in Diliman and the junction with Aurora Boulevard in Project 3. It is served by Anonas Station of the Manila Line 2 and a namesake station in the future on the Line 9.

The Manila Metro Rail Transit System Line 8, or MRT-8, also known as PNR East-West Line, is a proposed rapid transit line in the Philippines. It will be a nine-kilometer railway system connecting Sampaloc, Manila and Diliman, Quezon City via, Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon Avenue, and España Boulevard. The unsolicited proposal for the project was submitted to the Philippine government by Malaysia-based construction engineering company AlloyMTD group in 2016, and is awaiting for approval by the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA). According to MTD Philippines, Inc. President Patrick Nicholas David, the project will cost PHP 60 billion.

The Makati Intra-city Subway Line 5 is an 11-kilometer (6.8 mi) proposed underground rapid transit line to be located in Makati, Metro Manila, that will link establishments across the city's business district. It will be built under a public-private partnership program between the Makati City Government and a private consortium, IRC Properties Inc.. Proponents of the subway began construction in December 2018, and Makati Mayor Abigail Binay projects completion by the year 2025. The subway will cost $3.7 billion and is expected to accommodate 700,000 passengers daily. It will also have eleven stations, with connections to the existing Line 3, the Pasig River Ferry Service, and the approved Line 9.

The station is one of the southern termini of Line 9's Phase 1 to be built underneath East Service Road in Brgy. Western Bicutan, Taguig City. Portions of the station would also cross Parañaque City, Philippines, as the area is near the border. The station is named after Food Terminal Inc., an economic zone in the area that also hosts a business district development named Arca South.
