Anthony John Ardington (born 26 March 1940) is a former first-class cricketer with Oxford University who played in three matches in the 1965 season. [1] He was born in Howick,KwaZulu Natal,South Africa.
Outside cricket he has been a prominent businessman in South Africa. [2]
Jacques Henry Kallis is a South African cricket coach and former cricketer. Widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time and as one of the greatest all-rounders ever to play the game,he is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium swing bowler. As of 2022,Kallis is the only cricketer in the history of the game to score more than 10,000 runs and take over 250 wickets in both ODI and Test match cricket. He also took 131 ODI catches. He scored 13,289 runs in his Test match career,took 292 wickets,and 200 catches. Kallis won 23 Man-of-the-Match awards,the most by any player in Test history.

Robert Andrew Woolmer was an English cricket coach,cricketer,and a commentator. He played in 19 Test matches and six One Day Internationals for the England cricket team and later coached South Africa,Warwickshire and Pakistan. During his coaching career with South Africa,he led the team to being the winners of the 1998 ICC KnockOut Trophy,the only ICC title the country has won till date.
Abraham Benjamin de Villiers is a South African former international cricketer. AB de Villiers was named as the ICC ODI Player of the Year three times during his 15-year international career and was one of the five Wisden cricketers of the decade at the end of 2019. He scored over 8,000 runs in both Test and ODI cricket and is one of the very few batsmen to have a batting average of over fifty in both forms of the game. In limited overs cricket,he is an attacking player. He holds the record for the fastest ODI century in just 31 balls.
Dale Willem Steyn is a South African former professional cricketer who played for the South African Cricket Team. He is often regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers of all time and the greatest bowler of the Modern era. During the 2007–08 season,Steyn achieved a tally of 78 wickets at an average of 16.24,and was subsequently rewarded with the ICC 2008 Test Cricketer of the Year Award. He was named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 2013,and Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World for the year 2013 in 2014's Wisden Cricketers' Almanack. Amla holds the record for being the fastest ever to score 3000,4000,6000 and 7000 ODI runs,and second fastest to reach 5000 runs. He also became the fastest cricketer to reach 10 ODI centuries. Amla is an occasional off break bowler,and was South Africa's Test captain from June 2014 to January 2016.
Jonathan Neil "Jonty" Rhodes is a South African professional cricket coach,commentator and former Test and One Day International cricketer. He is regarded as one of the greatest fielders of all time and was the first South African cricketer to take 100 ODI catches. He played for the South African cricket team between 1992 and 2003. He is the fielding coach of the Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League. He is the fielding coach of Durban's Super Giants. Rhodes was a member of the South Africa cricket team that won the 1998 ICC KnockOut Trophy,the only ICC trophy the country has won.
