Anthony Ward (born 1957) is a British theatre designer specializing in set and costume design. He studied theatre design at Wimbledon School of Art. [1]
He has designed productions for the Royal National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Donmar Warehouse and the Almeida Theatre. Recent productions include the revival of Stephen Sondheim’s play Sweeney Todd , directed by Jonathan Kent (Chichester Festival Theatre/Adelphi Theatre), Posh (Royal Court/Duke of York Theatre), Enron (Royal Court/Chichester Festival Theatre). Ward's West End musical credits include My Fair Lady , Oklahoma! , Oliver! and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang .
Ward designed Sam Mendes' inaugural production, Assassins , at the Donmar Warehouse and Mary Stuart , directed by Phyllida Lloyd, which transferred to the West End and Broadway and received a Tony Award for Best Costume Design.
Opera productions include productions of Gloriana and Peter Grimes directed by Phyllida Lloyd for Opera North, and Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria directed by Adrian Noble for the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence.
For dance he designed Matthew Bourne’s Nutcracker! (Sadler’s Wells and UK tour) and most recently The Nutcracker for Nikolaj Hübbe at the Royal Danish Ballet.
Ward's partner is Mark Thompson, the Olivier award-winning and Tony-nominated international costume and set designer for stage and screen. They share a house in Kent and a studio in London with their grey Italian whippet.

She has performed on stage with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and received an Olivier Award, and nominations for a Tony Award, five Emmy Awards, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. In 2011, Walter was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) for services to drama.
Michael Grandage CBE is a British theatre director and producer. He is currently Artistic Director of the Michael Grandage Company. From 2002 to 2012 he was Artistic Director of the Donmar Warehouse in London and from 2000 to 2005 he was Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres.
Adrian Keith Noble is a theatre director, and was also the artistic director and chief executive of the Royal Shakespeare Company from 1990 to 2003.

Scarlett Aimee Vaigncourt-Strallen is an English stage actress, best known for her work in musical theatre productions in the West End and on Broadway. She has received two Olivier Award nominations, in 2006 for her portrayal of Josephine in an adaptation of H.M.S. Pinafore, performed at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre and in 2012 for her role in Singin' in the Rain. Strallen is also a former voice actress.

Susan Margaret Blane, is an English costume designer. She is best known for her costume designs for both The Rocky Horror Show and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. With her designs for Rocky Horror, Blane is credited for creating the look that became the template for punk rock fashion.

Kate Fleetwood is an English actress. Stephen Brimson Lewis is a British scenic designer. Director of Design for the Royal Shakespeare Company, he is also known for his work on the London theatre. He has also designed for opera and film. He won an Olivier Award for Best Set Design in 1995 for his work on Les Parents Terribles and Design for Living. He has also been nominated for a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award.
Rae Smith is a British set and costume designer who has worked frequently in theatre and Live Art. Her designs can be seen in the Opera Rigoletto which received a South Bank Sky Arts Award as did ‘’[Uncle Vanya ] film and West End Production in 2022. Saint Joan, an Obie Award for Oliver Twist and an Irish Times award for An Ideal Husband. Smith was nominated for Laurence Olivier Awards for The Light Princess, Uncle Vanya and Rosmersholm. Her work on the set of War Horse received particular praise and she received an Olivier, Tony, Evening Standard, Toronto Critics and Drama Desk Special Award. Smith has also worked on several operas and ballets.
