In the United States, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) operates an awards program based on the certified number of albums and singles sold through retail and other ancillary markets. Other countries have similar awards. Certification is not automatic; for an award to be made, the record label must first request certification. The audit is conducted against net shipments after returns, which includes albums sold directly to retailers and one-stops, direct-to-consumer sales and other outlets.
Music recording certification is a system of certifying that a music recording has shipped, sold, or streamed a certain number of units. The threshold quantity varies by type and by nation or territory.

According to Yankee himself, "Prestige is best and most complete album". The album met with positive reviews and it receive a nomination for Best Urban Album at the 14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards and for Urban Album of the Year at the Lo Nuestro Awards of 2013.

It was originally released on Nahmir's SoundCloud account on August 21, 2017, but was released for digital download and streaming on September 18, 2017. The single peaked at number 46 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and was certified gold by the RIAA in May 2018. Since then, the single has been certified 2× platinum by the RIAA.
SOB X RBE was an American hip hop group founded in 2016. The group consisted of Slimmy B, Yhung T.O., DaBoii, and Lul G. The group met as teenagers in the Bay Area of California, with influence from West Coast figures in the area's hip hop scene. They are best known for their 2018 song "Paramedic!," which entered the Billboard Hot 100 and was included on the Kendrick Lamar-curated Black Panther film soundtrack. The group disbanded the following year, mainly due to the killing of Rashied Flowers, which member Lul G was ultimately convicted of. Much of their music recalls Cash Money house producer Mannie Fresh’s peak work, with a heavy influence from ’80s electro and house. But it can’t sustain that energy for more than a few singles without having anything worthwhile to say.
Tyquian Terrel Bowman better known by his stage name Quando Rondo, is an American rapper, and singer-songwriter. He signed with YoungBoy Never Broke Again's namesake record label, an imprint of Atlantic Records shortly after the release of his 2018 single, "I Remember". The song received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and preceded his debut studio album, QPac (2020), which entered the Billboard 200 and contained his second platinum-certified song, "ABG". His second album, Recovery (2023), entered the chart.
"Act Up" is a song by American hip hop duo City Girls from their debut studio album Girl Code (2018). It reached the top 40 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song was released to US rhythmic and urban contemporary radio in as the album's second single March 27, 2019, eventually reaching number one on Billboard's Rhythmic Songs chart in its July 6, 2019 issue. It has peaked at number 26 on the Hot 100, making it their highest charting entry.
