Antoine Brockington (born April 8, 1974) is an American retired professional basketball player. He played college basketball at Coppin State.
Brockington is the son of Ike Cahoe and Carolyn Spelling and grew up in Philadelphia. He played basketball at Northeast High School. As a junior, Brockington averaged 28.5 points per game and earned Philadelphia city Player of the Year honors. He broke his left wrist during a recreation league game on September 12, 1993, forcing him to miss most of his senior season. While playing in the Sonny Hill League, Brockington was noticed by former Coppin State assistant Nate Blackwell, who recommended him to coach Fang Mitchell. Mitchell offered Brockington a scholarship, which he accepted. [1]
Brockington was ineligible during his freshman season due to not meeting academic requirements. He contemplated leaving Coppin State to find work in Philadelphia, but ultimately remained at the college. [1] In his junior season, Brockington led the Eagles to the NCAA Tournament. In one of the biggest upsets in tournament history, 15th seeded Coppin State defeated second-seeded South Carolina 78–65 behind 20 points from Brockington. [2] He averaged 17 points per game as a junior. [3] As a senior, Brockington averaged 20.3 points per game and was named MEAC Player of the Year. [4]
In January 1999, Brockington signed his first professional contract with Haukar in Iceland. He joined Panteras de Miranda for a tournament later in the year. In April 1999, he tried out for the Pennsylvania ValleyDawgs of the United States Basketball League. [5] On June 8, Brockington signed with the Washington Congressionals of the USBL. [6] In December 2000, he joined the Harrisburg Horizon of the United Basketball Alliance. [7] Brockington served as head coach of Delaware Valley Charter School during the 2009–10 season. [8]
Brockington's first son Antoine was born in 1994. [1] His son Izaiah plays college basketball at Iowa State after transferring from Penn State. [9] [10]
Stephen Todd Alford is an American men's college basketball coach and former professional player who is the head coach for the Nevada Wolf Pack of the Mountain West Conference (MWC). Born and raised in Indiana, he was a two-time consensus first-team All-American playing in college for the Indiana Hoosiers. He led them to a national championship in 1987. After playing professionally for four years in the National Basketball Association (NBA), he has been a college head coach for almost 30 years.
Armen Louis Gilliam was an American professional basketball player who played 13 years in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1987 to 2000. He also played one season for the Pittsburgh Xplosion of the American Basketball Association. Gilliam returned to the court after retirement as the head basketball coach for the (NCAA) Division III Penn State Altoona Lions from 2002 to 2005.
Francis Joseph Dunphy is an American college basketball coach, who is the head coach of the La Salle Explorers of the Atlantic 10 Conference. He is the former men's basketball coach at Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania. He succeeded John Chaney in 2006 and was succeeded by Aaron McKie in 2019. In June 2020, Dunphy was named interim athletic director of Temple. In 2022, he was named the men's basketball coach of the La Salle Explorers.

Rashad Keith Phillips is an American former professional basketball player. At a height of 5'9 1⁄4" tall, and a weight of 170 pounds, he played at the guard position. Since retiring from basketball, he started and continues to run, "Skills Unlimited", a training and mentoring program for children, that uses basketball as a vehicle to help them overcome their obstacles. Rashad is known best for discovering NBA Guard, Temetrius Jamel "Ja" Morant and predicting the success of NBA Guard, Rayford Trae Young.
The 1975–76 Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball team represented Georgetown University during the 1975–76 NCAA Division I college basketball season. John Thompson, coached them in his fourth season as head coach. An independent, Georgetown played its home games at McDonough Gymnasium on the Georgetown campus in Washington, D.C., and finished the season with a record of 21-7. The team won the 1976 ECAC South Region tournament and appeared in the 1976 NCAA tournament for the second consecutive year, losing in the first round to Arizona.

Marvin O'Connor is an American former professional basketball player. He played high school basketball at Simon Gratz in his native Philadelphia, winning the Philadelphia Public League title as a senior in 1997. After his freshman year in college at Villanova, O'Connor transferred to Saint Joseph's, where he was an all-conference selection in all of his three seasons there, and won the Robert V. Geasey Trophy as the best basketball player in the Philadelphia Big 5 in 2001. He went undrafted in the 2002 NBA draft and spent his only professional season with KK Partizan in Serbia, playing in the 2002–03 Euroleague. He is a member of the St. Joseph's Hawks Hall of Fame and of the Big 5 Hall of Fame (2013).
Jahaad Proctor is an American professional basketball player for the York Mighty Ants of the Triple Threat Basketball League. He attended Harrisburg High School in Pennsylvania and became the program's all-time leading scorer. Proctor began his college basketball career playing for the Iona Gaels but transferred after his freshman season to play for the High Point Panthers. Proctor developed into an All-Big South performer at High Point and averaged 19.5 points per game as a junior. Proctor transferred to play for the Purdue Boilermakers as a graduate transfer, averaging 9.0 points per game. He signed with the Vilpas Vikings in July 2020.
