Aparajita Mohanty is an Indian actress who mostly appears in Odia Film Industry. She started her career with Sita Labakusha in 1980. Apart from big screen, she played various roles in some Odia television serials.
She was born at Karanjia in Odisha, India to Abdul Aziz Khan and Harapriya Ray. Her uncle Rajkishore Ray is a popular literary person in Odisha. [1] She married Odia actor Uttam Mohanty in 1987. [2] [3] Her son Babushan Mohanty is also an actor and singer in Odia film Industry. [4] Basically she is the resident of Sambalpur.
Aparajita debuted in Ollywood with Sita Labakusha along with Uttam Mohanty in 1980. She has appeared in more than 70 Odia films in various characters. Apart from that, she has appeared in various Odia daily soaps.

Uttam Mohanty is an Indian film and television actor who has to his credit more than 135 Odia films to date and has acted in 30 Bengali films and in a Hindi film Naya Zaher.

Swayamsiddha is a 2010 Odia film directed by Sudhanshu Sahu with a screenplay and dialogue by Dilip Choudhury, produced by Prabhat Ranjan Mallik, and starring Siddhanta Mahapatra and Yukta Inderlal Mookhey. The film focuses on the implications for the young mass adopting to Maoist insurgency and their sustained alienation from the mainstream as a result. Geo-strategic importance of changing the minds of young people adopting terrorism through love and affection. The film traces the crisis from social trauma to unfair state system encouraging Mao-Naxal insurgency in Odisha.

Hakim Babu is a 1985 Indian Odia-language drama film directed by Pranab Das and starring Ajit Das, Jaya Swami and Bijaya Jena. The film marks the second collaboration between Pranab and Ajit Das after Sesha Pratikhya (1979). The story is based on Bibhuti Patnaik's novel of the same name and talks about industrialization and displacement in an Odisha village.
