Apocalypshit is the second studio album by the Mexican band Molotov produced by Mario Caldato, Jr. The album was released in September 1999 on Surco Records. Apocalypshit was the first Molotov album to be released in the US.

In 2001, the song "Polkas Palabras" was used as a soundtrack for the motion picture The Fast and the Furious , when Brian breaks into Hector's garage, while he is having a party.
In 2005 songs by Molotov were used in the Eidos video game Total Overdose .
In 2008, the song "Apocalypshit" was used in the pilot of Breaking Bad , "Pilot", during the final scene where Walt and Jesse escape from the cook site in the desert.

Baladas en Español is a Spanish language compilation album by Swedish pop duo Roxette, released on 21 October 1996 by EMI. The compilation was only issued in Spanish and Portuguese-speaking territories. It was a commercial success upon release, peaking in the top ten of several national record charts, and was certified gold or platinum in numerous territories, namely Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Spain. As of 2001, the record sold in excess of 1.2 million copies worldwide.
Grandes Éxitos is the first greatest hits album by Colombian singer and songwriter Shakira. It was released on 2 November 2002, by Sony Music Colombia, one year after her fifth studio album and English-language debut Laundry Service. It is composed of Spanish-language recordings from her third, fourth and fifth studio efforts Pies Descalzos (1995), Dónde Están los Ladrones? (1998) and Laundry Service (2001), along with the live album MTV Unplugged (2000). The album only featured Spanish-language tracks and featured no new recordings. It also did not include songs from her first two studio albums, Magia and Peligro.
Álex Ubago is a Spanish singer-songwriter. He is especially known for his heartfelt voice and his ballads. He was able to record his debut album ¿Qué pides tú? when manager Iñigo Argomaniz that used to go to Alex's cousin's bar heard a demo that Alex made for his girlfriend. His first album contains songs from that first demo recording; the songs are "Sabes" and "Hay Que Ver". Alex started to tour national radios with his guitar to sing his songs live and get further exposure. Eventually, this strategy worked, and his album finally hit the charts. But he reached absolute fame with the publication of the song "Sin Miedo A Nada", featuring Amaia Montero, which is his biggest hit to date.
La Quinta Estación was a Spanish pop/rock band composed of two musicians from Madrid: Natalia Jiménez and Ángel Reyero (guitar). Pablo Domínguez (2001–2008) was the third member until his recent split. The band originated in Madrid with six members but the remaining three relocated to Mexico in 2001 after recording their first album Primera toma.
Con Todo Respeto is a 2004 covers album by the Mexican band Molotov. The album was released in October 2004 by the label Universal Latino. The songs covered are from a variety of genres, including new wave, hip hop music, punk, and traditional music of Mexico. The title, in apparent reference to the playful cover tracks throughout, means "with all due respect" in Spanish.
Revolución de Amor is the sixth studio album recorded by Mexican rock band Maná, It was released by WEA Latina on August 20, 2002. Allmusic considers it one of their strongest and most consistent albums. Critics of the band deride it for being too slick and polished, with an "arena rock" aura, but others consider it to have some of their strongest writing. The album gave Maná its fourth Grammy.

¿Dónde Jugarán las Niñas? is the first studio album by Mexican rock band Molotov, released in 1997 by Surco Records. The album's title, literally "Where Will The Girls Play?", is a pun on Maná's ¿Dónde Jugarán los Niños? and is also intended as a sexual double-entendre underpinned by the risqué cover featuring a young woman's legs seductively displayed in school uniform.

The song was included in the game Rock Band 3. In 2012, Juanes re-released the single with a new version, that was performed on his album MTV Unplugged. Maná MTV Unplugged is a live album by Mexican rock band Maná. It was an acoustic set performed for MTV Unplugged in Miami on March 9, 1999, and released on CD and DVD on June 22, 1999. It includes exclusive re-make versions of the José Alfredo Jiménez song "Te Solte La Rienda", the Rubén Blades song "Desapariciones", and "Se Me Olvidó Otra Vez" by Juan Gabriel. As of 2000, it sold 2 millions of copies.
MTV Unplugged is the second live album from Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz, which turns him into the first Spanish artist in recording an unplugged for MTV, and in this opportunity he resorts to Humberto Gatica's talent as producer and arranger. This album contains an inedit song, "Y Sólo Se Me Ocurre Amarte" dedicated to his daughter Manuela, the song "Aprendiz" that Alejandro composed for the Spanish singer Malú, a different version of "Cómo Te Echo de Menos" and a flamenco song, "Todo Es de Color" by Manuel Molina.

100 años de mariachi is the title of a studio album released by Spanish performer Plácido Domingo. It was released on October 5, 1999, by EMI Latin. Domingo was awarded the Best Mexican-American/Tejano Music Performance at the 42nd Grammy Awards. By 2002, the album had sold over 2.5 million copies.

Minage is a tribute album by Spanish recording artist Mónica Naranjo. The album was released on 16 March 2000 by Sony Music. Months later, a special edition was released with the Spanish versions of the two English language songs in the album, "Enamorada" and "If You Leave Me Now". The Spanish version of "If You Leave Me Now" was called "Seguiré sin ti". It achieved platinum status in Spain the day it was released. Minage is a tribute album to Italian singer Mina. All of the songs are Spanish covers of her songs, except "Enamorada" and "If You Leave Me Now" alongside a duet with Mina, Naranjo promoted the album through the Minage Tour and television appearances.
