Volleybalclub Aquacare Halen is a volleyball club based in Halen, Belgium.
The men's A squad currently plays in the Liga, the highest level of Belgian men's volleyball. The club has been there since 2002. Their best league position was 5th, achieved in 2004–05, 2006–07 and 2007–08. Because of this, the team has already played three times in the Challenge Cup, formerly known as CEV Cup.
The club was founded in 2002 as a result of a merger between Schuvoc Herk-de-Stad en Halen VC. Those two teams also were the result of earlier mergers.
The men's B and C squad, as well as the three women's teams, play in the lower, provincial leagues.

The Dalhousie Tigers are the men's and women's athletic teams that represent Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The Tigers field 14 varsity teams with seven men's teams and seven women's teams that primarily compete in the Atlantic University Sport conference of U Sports. The university also offers numerous intramural and club sports that are available to students, staff, alumni, and Dalpex members.
Sportvereniging Zulte Waregem, commonly known as Zulte Waregem or by their nickname Essevee, is a Belgian professional football club based in Waregem, West Flanders. Zulte Waregem plays in the Belgian First Division A. Their highest finish at the highest level was second place in 2012–13. They have won two Belgian Cups. They qualified for the 2006–07 UEFA Cup, losing in the round of 32 to Newcastle United. Also in the seasons 2013–2014 and 2017–2018 they managed to play in the Europa League group stages. On both occasions the club ended 3rd in their group.

Gilberto Amauri de Godoy Filho, known as Giba, is a Brazilian former professional volleyball player who played as an outside hitter. For much of the 2000s, he was widely regarded as one of the best volleyball players in the world. During his professional career he played in Brazil, Italy, Russia, Argentina and briefly in the United Arab Emirates. He is mostly remembered for his successes with the national team.

Al Arabi Volleyball is a professional Volleyball team based in Doha, Qatar. It competes in the Qatari Volleyball League. The team automatically qualified for the 2009, 2010, and 2011 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship as Qatar were the hosts. In 2012 Al Arabi team qualified for the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship as the Champion of AVC Club Volleyball Championship They have never advanced past the group stage in their appearances.
