Shashi Kapoor was an Indian actor and film producer who is best known for his works in Hindi films. A recipient of several accolades, including four National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards, he also featured in a number of English-language international films, particularly films produced by Merchant Ivory. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan in 2011, and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, in 2014, for his contribution to Indian cinema.

Swarg Narak is a 1978 Indian Hindi-language drama film, produced by B. Nagi Reddy under the Vijaya Productions Pvt. Ltd. banner and directed and written by Dasari Narayana Rao. It stars Sanjeev Kumar, Jeetendra, Vinod Mehra, Moushumi Chatterjee, Shabana Azmi and music is composed by Rajesh Roshan. All three songs became popular. The film is a remake of the Telugu Silver Jubilee movie Swargam Narakam (1975) made by the same director.

Pradhanmantri is an Indian television political documentary series, hosted by actor-director Shekhar Kapur on Hindi news channel ABP News. It premiered on 13 July 2013. It aimed to bring to the audience never-seen-before facts of Indian history. The weekly programme chronicles the history of India from 1947 to the present day. The TV series was hosted by the renowned film-maker, actor and host Shekhar Kapur and directed by Puneet Sharma. It was a unique attempt to present the changes in the country during the tenures of 13 prime ministers in the last 65 years. Pradhanmantri aired every Saturday at 10 pm. Raghi Papiya Joshi and Sohan Thakur are casting directors.

Dastaan is a TV show that aired on Zee TV from 1995 to 1997. The show was shot in the U.A.E., particularly Sharjah, and starred Parmeet Sethi, Navni Parihar, Nishigandha Wad and Ashish Vidyarthi. Kanoon is an Indian television courtroom drama/crime series. The 111-episode Hindi series had its original run from 1993 to 1996 on DD Metro. It was produced by B. R. Chopra and directed by his son Ravi Chopra. The music was composed by Ravi. Make-up for the series was done by Vimal Devkar. The concept of the story was given by Satish Bhatnagar, Sachin Bhowmik, Kulwant Jain and Hasan Kamal. Four seasons of the show were telecasted.
