Arash Pournouri

Arash Pournouri (born 28 August 1981 in Iran), also known as Ash Pournouri, is an Iranian-Swedish record manager, record producer, songwriter and record executive. While he is best known as the former manager for Avicii, their artist-manager relationship ended in December 2016. [1] Arash is also known for co-writing the lyrics to Cazzette's song, “Beam Me Up”. [2] He owns the music label PRMD and the booking agency At Night Management. [3] [4] He appeared in the documentary film Avicii: True Stories . [5]

In 2014, Pournouri was awarded as MVP (Most Valuable Person) at the Denniz Pop Awards founded by Denniz Pop. [6]

He along with Spotify founder Daniel Ek are the creators of the tech convention Symposium. [5] Pournouri studied law in high school and has also owned and run several restaurant and bars in Norway and arranged club nights in Stockholm. [7] On 9 July 2015, he was the presenter for Sommar i P1 on Sveriges Radio. [8] He is one of the founders of Brilliant Minds. [9] In 2018, he along with Brilliant Minds arranged a conference at Grand Hotel in Stockholm where Barack Obama attended. [9] In 2019, Arash became part owner of the video platform Triller. [10]

"Devil Pray" is a song recorded by American singer and songwriter Madonna for her thirteenth studio album, Rebel Heart (2015). It was written and produced by Madonna, Avicii, DJ Dahi, and Michael Diamond (BloodPop), with additional writing by Arash Pournouri, Carl Falk, Rami Yacoub, and Savan Kotecha. During the early stages of the album, Madonna was encouraged by her manager to work with Avicii and his team of songwriters. Together, they worked on seven songs and "Devil Pray" was composed after Madonna desired to talk about her experiences with drugs and quest for spirituality. Lyrically, the song deals with themes of drug addiction, sin, temptation, and the desire for salvation.

<i>Tim</i> (Avicii album) 2019 studio album by Avicii

Tim is the third and final studio album by Swedish DJ and producer Avicii, released on 6 June 2019, following his death on 20 April 2018. It is his sole posthumous album release. It includes the single "SOS", which was released on 10 April 2019. All profits from sales of the album go towards the Tim Bergling Foundation, set up following Avicii's suicide, for mental health awareness.
