The Arena Naucalpan 35th Anniversary Show was an annual professional wrestling major event produced by Mexican professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG), which took place on December 20, 2012 in Arena Naucalpan, Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico. The show celebrated the 35th Anniversary of the construction of Arena Naucalpann, IWRG's main venue. The main event was a five team steel cage match contested under elimination rules. The teams were La Familia de Tijuana (Damian 666 and X-Fly), Los Hermanos Dinamita, Jr. (Hijo de Máscara Año 2000 and Máscara Año 2000, Jr.) and the father/son duos of Dr. Wagner, Jr. and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner, Jr., El Canek and El Canek, Jr. and Los Piratas (Hijo de Pirata Morgan and Pirata Morgan). Damian 666 was originally slated to team with his son Bestia 666, but was replaced by X-Fly. The match was contested under escape rules, which meant that the last team member in the ring would be the loser. Dr. Wagner, Jr. as well as Los Infierno Rockers and Los Psycho Circus who worked on the under card all appeared through IWRG's working relationship with fellow Mexican wrestling promotion AAA. The undercard also saw the continuation of the storyline feud between Fuerza Guerrera and Black Terry as well as a Torneo cibernetico elimination match between a team representing IWRG's wrestling school and a team representing Fuerza Guerrera's school Gimnasio Konkreto.
Promoter Adolfo Moreno had promoted Lucha Libre , or professional wrestling in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico prior to financing the building of Arena Naucalpan that opened in late 1976. Originally Moreno worked together with the Universal Wrestling Association (UWA) and then later Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) as a local promoter. On January 1, 1996 Moreno created International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) as an independent promotion. [2] IWRG celebrates the anniversary of Arena Naucalpan each year in December with a major show, making it the second oldest, still promoted show series in the world. pre-dating WrestleMania by eight years. [2] Only the CMLL Anniversary Show series has a longer history. [2] [3] The 2012 Arena Naucalpan anniversary show marked the 35th Anniversary of Arena Naucalpab. The Anniversary show, as well as the majority of the IWRG shows in general are held in Arena Naucalpan.
The event featured five professional wrestling matches with different wrestlers involved in pre-existing scripted feuds, plots and storylines. Wrestlers were portrayed as either heels (referred to as rudos in Mexico, those that portray the "bad guys") or faces (técnicos in Mexico, the "good guy" characters) as they followed a series of tension-building events, which culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches.
Felipe Estrada, known as El Canek or simply Canek, is a Mexican luchador enmascarado or masked professional wrestler best known for the 20 years he worked for the Universal Wrestling Association where he held the UWA World Heavyweight Championship a total of 15 times. As the major heavyweight working for the Universal Wrestling Association promotion, he became one of Lucha Libre's biggest attractions during the 1980s especially through his high-profile matches against non-Mexicans that sold out numerous shows and led to the UWA using the same formula of "Canek vs. the foreigner" for over a decade. He made his debut in 1972 as "El Universitario" at the age of 18 and would later work under the name "Principe Azul". In 1973 he adopted the ring name El Canek, a name inspired by the Mayan Indian leader Jacinto Canek, that he has used ever since. While he has worked in Mexico for the majority of his career he has also made several, frequent, tours of Japan and has worked in the United States as well as Europe.
Ángel Omar Reyes Franco is a Mexican luchador or professional wrestler, better known as Máscara Año 2000 Jr. He is working for Lucha Libre AAA World Wide (AAA), and International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG). Máscara Año 2000 Jr. originally worked under a mask and his real name was not a matter of public record, until he lost his mask in a match in August 2012. His father Jesús Reyes González wrestled under the ring name Máscara Año 2000.
Antheus Ortiz Chávez, better known under the ring name Hijo de Pirata Morgan is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) portraying a tecnico wrestling character. Hijo de Pirata Morgan's real name was not a matter of public record until March 16, 2013 where he lost his wrestling mask and had to reveal his real name. This is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans while they are masked. He is legitimately the son of professional wrestler Pedro Ortiz Villanueva, better known as Pirata Morgan, and not a storyline family relationship as it sometimes the case in Lucha Libre.
Rebelión de los Juniors (2012) was an annual professional wrestling major event produced by Mexican professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG), which took place on March 15, 2012 in Arena Naucalpan, Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico. The main event of the match was a 10-man elimination match featuring 10 "Juniors" with the last surviving participant becoming the #1 contender for the IWRG Junior de Juniors Championship held by Trauma I at the time. The ten competitors were Bestia 666, Carta Brava, Jr., El Canek, Jr., Apolo Estrada, Jr., Halcón 78, Jr., El Hijo de L.A. Park, Hijo de Pirata Morgan, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner, Jr., Máscara Sagrada, Jr. and Ultraman, Jr.. The main event came down to just Bestia 666 and Hijo de Pirata Morgan left in the ring. During the match the referee was knocked down, which allowed La Familia de Tijuana remembers Damian 666, Halloween, Super Nova and Zumbi to come to the ring to attack Hijo de Pirata Morgan, allowing Bestia 666 to pin his opponents only moments later.
Cien Caras Jr. is a Mexican luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) portraying a rudo wrestling character. Cien Caras Jr.'s real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. He is not a blood relative of wrestler Cien Caras, but instead is using the ring name with permission from Cien Caras.
Los Capos Junior is a Mexican professional wrestling group, called a stable, which is working on the Mexican Independent circuit, including regular appearances for International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG). The group works as a rudo faction and often teams together for tag team or Trios matches. The storyline behind team is that they are all sons of one of the original Los Capos, Cien Caras and Máscara Año 2000, although only one of the four members have been confirmed as being a blood relative while two others were definitely not. The stable includes Cien Caras Jr., Hijo de Máscara Año 2000 and Máscara Año 2000 Jr.. El Hijo de Cien Caras was a part of the group until his death in 2010. Los Capos have at times also been billed as Los Hermanos Dinamita leading this team being called Los Hermanos Dinamita Junior or Los Junior Dinamitas.
El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. is a Mexican luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler, currently working Major League Wrestling (MLW) in the United States, Pro Wrestling Noah in Japan, and also on the Mexican Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and the Independent circuit, including International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) portraying a tecnico wrestling character. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. He is the grandson of Dr. Wagner and the son of Dr. Wagner Jr. His mother is professional wrestler Rossy Moreno and he is part of both the Wagner and the Moreno wrestling families.
The Arena Naucalpan 38th Anniversary Show was a major annual professional wrestling event produced by Mexican professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG), which took place on December 20, 2015 in Arena Naucalpan, Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico. The show celebrated the 38th Anniversary of the construction of Arena Naucalpan, IWRG's main venue. In the main event the team known as Los Insoportables defeated Los Terribles Cerebros, as a result of their loss Black Terry and Dr. Cerebro had all their hair shaved off under Luchas de Apuestas rules. The show also saw El Hijo de Dos Caras successfully defend the IWRG Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship and Imposible successfully defend the IWRG Intercontinental Lightweight Championship.

The Festival de las Máscaras (2019) was a major annual lucha libre event produced and scripted by the Mexican International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) professional wrestling promotion held on June 26, 2019. The show was held in Arena Naucalpan, Naucalpan, State of Mexico, which is IWRG's primary venue. For the 2019 event Bombero Infernal, Cerebro Negro, Cocolores, Coco Verde, Oficial 911, Oficial AK-47, and Oficial Fierro all wore their masks again after having lost Luchas de Apuestas, or "bet matches", in the past and thus lost the rights to wear their mask. The 2019 event also homage to Vampiro and his long career.
