Characteristics

The fast patrol craft was designed by the Antalya-based Ares Shipyard in cooperation with the British Maritime Technology (BMT), which is experienced in commercial and naval high-performance patrol vessels with lengths ranging from 9 m (30 ft) to 220 m (720 ft). [1]

Made of advanced composite material, Ares 85 Hercules was built at Ares Shipyard. She has a length of 25.95 m (85.1 ft), a beam of 5.85 m (19.2 ft), a draft of 1.20 m (3 ft 11 in) with a displacement of 70 tons. [2] She has a cruise speed of 45 kn (83 km/h; 52 mph), up to 55 kn (102 km/h; 63 mph). [2] [3] The ship's class is BV, TL/HSC-N (Bureau Veritas, Turkish Lloyd/High-speed craft - Non-displacement mode). [2] [4] The patrol boat features a stabilized weapon station of a remotely controlled 12.7 mm machine gun. [5] The patrol craft is equipped with electro-optical sensors, sea-based X-band Radar and radşo systems. TCG <i>Anadolu</i> Turkish Navy ship

TCG Anadolu (L-400) is an amphibious assault ship (LHD) of the Turkish Navy that can be configured as a light aircraft carrier. It is named after the peninsula of Anatolia which forms the majority of the land mass of Turkey. The construction works began on 30 April 2016 at the shipyard of Sedef Shipbuilding Inc. in Istanbul, with the keel being laid 7 February 2018, and is expected to be completed in 2020. South Coast Shipyard was a shipbuilding company in Newport, California. To support the World War II demand for ships South Coast Shipyard built: minesweepers, Torpedo Boats, Submarine chasers, & Air-sea rescue boats. South Coast Shipyard was opened in 1938 by Walton Hubbard. After World War II the shipyard continued to build ships for the US Navy till 1955. The shipyard was located at 2300 Newport Boulevard, Newport, California. The shipyard closed in 1963.

San Diego Marine was a shipbuilding company in San Diego, California. To support the World War 2 demand for ships San Diego Marine built: minesweepers and sub chasers. San Diego Marine was opened in 1915 as San Diego Marine Construction shipyard Captain Oakley J. Hall. The company was sold to Campbell Industries in 1972. It was sold again in 1979 and renamed Southwest Marine. Boatbuilding ended in 1983. Southwest Marine was sold to U.S. Marine Repair in 2003. The named changed to BAE Systems Ship Repair in 2005. The shipyard is located at 2205 East Belt Street, San Diego.

Ares Shipyard is a Turkish shipyard established in Antalya, southern Turkey in 2006. It builds fast potrol boats for the defence industry and law enforcement.

Ares 110 Hercules is a multi-role fast patrol boat made in Turkey. The Royal Qatar Coast Guard Command ordered and received ten boats of this type.
