Arise Woman! Comedy Jam is a Uganda n stand-up comedy show created and hosted by Akite Agnes. [1] The event happens annually [2] on International Women's Day in celebration of the achievements of the woman [3] in the society and has an all female cast. The show takes place yearly on 8 March. Proceeds from each show go to an identified Charity organisation [4]

Arise Woman!2019


Arise Woman!2019 is the maiden comedy show of the annual event. Proceeds from this show went to help Home of Hope Uganda (https://www.homeofhopeuganda.org/). [5] The show took place in Theatre Labonita and it comprised an all female star cast. [6]

Fun Factory Uganda is a Ugandan entertainment company based in Kampala. It was founded in 2010, with its flagship product being sketch comedy. It also has branched into television shows and event management. FFU's cast are trained at Makerere University School of Liberal and Performing Arts. Cotilda Inapo is a Ugandan female stand-up comedian, actress, freelance copywriter, motivational speaker and events host who joined professional comedy in 2009 and grew as a member of the Crackers. Their performances were broadcast on NTV and NBS. Cotilda left Laftaz unceremoniously and joined Comedy Files at Theatre La Bonita.
