The Bangladesh Armed Forces are the military forces of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. They consist of the three uniformed military services: the Bangladesh Army, the Bangladesh Navy and the Bangladesh Air Force. Prior to this appointment, he was DG of DGDA. Before that he was Commandant of Armed Forces Medical College. He was the 13th Colonel Commandant of Army Medical Corps.
Nishat Jubaida FCPS, DCP is a Major general and is currently the highest-ranking female officer of the Bangladesh Army. She was promoted to the rank of major general on 16 February 2023 as the second female Major general in the Bangladesh Army after Major General Susane Giti.
