The Dumdums were a British guitar-pop band. London-based, they split up in August 2001. The band members were Josh Doyle – vocals and guitar, Steve Clarke – bass and vocals, Stuart 'Baxter' Wilkinson – drums and vocals.
"Truly Madly Deeply" is a song by Australian pop duo Savage Garden, released as the third single from their self-titled debut album in March 1997 by Columbia Records, Roadshow Music, and Sony Music. It won the 1997 ARIA Music Award for Single of the Year and Highest Selling Single and was nominated for Song of the Year. Written by bandmates Darren Hayes and Daniel Jones, the song is a reworking of a song called "Magical Kisses" that the pair wrote together during the recording of their debut album.
"Jackie" is a song written by Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly for the 1987 film, Summer School. It was originally recorded by Elisa Fiorillo and included on the Summer School soundtrack. In 1988, "Jackie" was recorded by Lisa Stansfield's band, Blue Zone for their 1988 album, Big Thing. It was released as a single and peaked at number fifty-four on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number thirty-seven on the Hot Dance Club Songs. In 1998, "Jackie" was recorded by Joanne, who used samples from the Blue Zone version. It was issued as B.Z. featuring Joanne and reached number three in Australia and number five in New Zealand. Another cover by Redzone peaked at number thirty-seven in Australia.
"Breathe" is a song written by Stephanie Bentley and Holly Lamar and recorded by American country music artist Faith Hill. Warner Bros. Records released it on October 4, 1999, as the first single from Hill's fourth album of the same name (1999). The song was produced by Byron Gallimore and Hill. "Breathe" became Hill's seventh number one on the Hot Country Songs chart in the United States, spending six weeks at number one. It also peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in April 2000. Despite not peaking at number one, it was the number-one pop single of 2000.
"Father and Son" is a popular song written and performed by English singer-songwriter Cat Stevens on his 1970 album Tea for the Tillerman. The song frames a heartbreaking exchange between a father not understanding a son's desire to break away and shape a new life, and the son who cannot really explain himself but knows that it is time for him to seek his own destiny.
"Relight My Fire" is a popular disco song which was written and released by Dan Hartman in 1979, when it topped the US dance music charts for six weeks. It was also performed by Costa Anadiotis' band Café Society in 1984 and British boy band Take That in 1993, 5 months before Hartman died.

"You Sent Me Flying" is a song by English singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse from her debut studio album Frank (2003). Written by Winehouse and Felix Howard, the song was released on 5 April 2004 as the album's third single, with "In My Bed" as its A-side. The single peaked at number 60 on the UK Singles Chart.
"My Happiness" is a song by Australian rock band Powderfinger. It was released via record label Universal Music Australia on 21 August 2000 as the first single from the band's fourth album, Odyssey Number Five. Powderfinger frontman Bernard Fanning wrote the lyrics for "My Happiness" as a reflection on the time the band spent touring to promote their work, and the loneliness that came as a result. It was inspired by his love of gospel and soul music. The rest of the band are co-credited with Fanning for composing the track. Despite its melancholy mood, "My Happiness" is considered by many to be a love song, a suggestion Fanning regards as mystifying.
"Burn" is a song written by Tina Arena, Pam Reswick, and Steve Werfel for Arena's third album In Deep (1997). The song was successful in her native Australia, reaching number two on the ARIA Singles Chart and earning a gold sales certification. Arena also recorded the song in Spanish, and the Italian version, "Ti Voglio Qui", was released as a single in several countries in Europe.
"Düm Tek Tek" is a song by Belgian-Turkish singer Hadise that was performed as the Turkish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia.
"Coming Home Now" is the sixth single taken from Irish boy band Boyzone's debut album, Said and Done (1995). It was their only single to be written solely by the group, without any outside co-writers. The song peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Boyzone's only solo single to miss the top three prior to their initial split in 2000. The song has received a silver sales certification for shipping 200,000 units in the UK. In Ireland, the song broke their consecutive string of four number-one hits by reaching number two.
"Crying at the Discoteque" is a song by Swedish band Alcazar from their debut studio album, Casino (2000). It samples Sheila and B. Devotion's 1979 hit "Spacer". Alexander Bard produced this song and can be heard in the middle of this song. Released in April 2000, the song became Alcazar's first international hit single the following year, reaching number one in Hungary and the top 10 in Flanders, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Switzerland. By the end of 2002, "Crying at the Discoteque" had sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide.

"Allez Ola Olé" is a French Language song performed by Jessy Matador that represented France at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. The song was chosen internally, and was announced 24 February 2010. The song was to be used by French broadcaster France Télévisions as The Summerhit of 2010 and also for promoting the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and the title of the song refers to the album Music of the World Cup: Allez! Ola! Ole!, released in 1998 to coincide with the '98 World Cup, held in France.
"The Best Thing" is a song by Australian pop group Savage Garden, released as the seventh and final single from their second studio album Affirmation on 19 March 2001. This was their final single released before their breakup later that year.
Asides Besides is a compilation album by Talk Talk, released April 1998. It is a collection of rarities, B-sides and demos previously unavailable on CD. It was issued as a companion volume to the band's 1997 album remasters and has been described as "[tying] up loose ends" in the band's career. The album received positive reviews. The album only contains tracks from the 1982–1988 period, as EMI could only obtain rights for Talk Talk music from this period. An album of rarities for Talk Talk's career after 1988 was released in 2001 as Missing Pieces.
"My Heart Beats Like a Drum ", originally released and also known as "My Heart Beats Like a Drum ", is the second single by German Eurodance group ATC from their debut album Planet Pop. While not as successful as "Around the World ", it was still a Top 10 hit in several countries across Europe.
