Arne Sandnes (Rogaland)

Arne Sandnes (born 27 September 1925 in Hetland, died 23 December 2006) was a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party.

He served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Rogaland during the terms 19771981 and 19811985.

On the local level he was mayor of Sandnes municipality in the periods 19741975, 19781979 and 19791981 and deputy mayor in the periods 19711973, 19751977 and 19821983. From 1971 to 1975 and 1979 to 1991 he was a member of Rogaland county council.

His professional career was spent in the military, in Norway and in UNMOGIP.
