Arno Suislep (born 6 May 1980) [1] is an Estonian musician.

Career

Arno Suislep is best known from the Estonian local spin off from Pop Idol called Eesti otsib superstaari , where he got second place after Jana Kask. [2] He got 47.1% of points in a tight competition.

He plays bass guitar in the band Melotrap. [1]

Terminaator is an Estonian rock group formed in 1987 by Arno Veimer and Jaagup Kreem in Tallinn 10. High School. Kreem was in the 7th grade then. The first public performance was in Tallinn 47. High School in the schoolbands' festival. The first time in the studio was in 1989. First songs "Charleen" and "Meeletu maailm" were recorded in 1991. They found wider fame in 1992, when they won the festival of young bands Rock In. They have also performed in Latvia, Lithuania and Finland, although they have not had much success outside of Estonia. Jana Kask is an Estonian singer and the winner of Eesti otsib superstaari 2008, the second season of the Estonian version of Pop Idol. In the final, she competed against Arno Suislep, winning it by getting 52.9% of the votes. Her first studio album was released in late 2009.

The second season of Eesti otsib superstaari started on February 3, 2008 and lasted until June 2008. The hosts of first season were replaced by two male comedians/actors, Ott Sepp and Märt Avandi. Heidy Purga, Mihkel Raud and Rein Rannap continued as judges.
