Happy Days is an American sitcom television series that aired first-run on the ABC network from January 15, 1974, to July 19, 1984, with a total of 255 half-hour episodes spanning 11 seasons. Created by Garry Marshall, the series was one of the most successful of the 1970s, a sweet vision of life in the mid-1950s to mid-1960s Midwestern United States, and starred Ron Howard as Richie Cunningham, Henry Winkler as his friend Fonzie, and Tom Bosley and Marion Ross as Richie's parents, Howard and Marion Cunningham. Crooner is a term used to describe primarily male singers who performed using a smooth style made possible by better microphones which picked up quieter sounds and a wider range of frequencies, allowing the singer to utilize more dynamic range and perform in a more intimate manner. It is derived from the old verb "to croon". This suggestion of intimacy was supposedly wildly attractive to women, especially younger ones such as teenage girls, known at the time as "bobby soxers". Nichols is an American Western television series starring James Garner. It was first broadcast in the United States on NBC during the 1971–72 season. Set in the fictional town of Nichols, Arizona, Nichols differed from traditional Western series. The time period was 1914, at the beginning of the motorized era and well after the decline of the "Old West". The main character, a sheriff also named Nichols, rode on a motorcycle and in an automobile rather than on the traditional horse. Hank Locklin Sings Eddy Arnold is a studio album by American country singer–songwriter Hank Locklin. It was released in June 1965 via RCA Victor Records and was produced by Chet Atkins. The project was Locklin's tenth studio album and one of several concept albums he made during his career. The album was a collection of cover songs first recorded by Locklin's musical inspiration, Eddy Arnold. It included some of his biggest hits and most well-known songs. The collection received mixed reviews from critics and publications.
Arnold Davydovich Margolin – was a Ukrainian diplomat, lawyer, active participant in Ukrainian and Jewish community and political affairs; attorney who became world-famous as the defense counsel for Mendel Beilis in the notorious Jewish blood libel trial in Kiev from 1911 to 1913. He was a justice of the Supreme Court of Appeals of Ukraine, Undersecretary of State of Ukraine and a member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Versailles Peace Conference between 1918 and 1919.
